2026 TATTERSALLS YEARLING SALES

The Tattersalls October Yearling Sale is the most important fortnight in the European bloodstock calendar drawing buyers from around the world to Park Paddocks in Newmarket to compete for the very best of the European yearling crop.
Last year, 26 Tattersalls graduates won Group/Grade 1 races on Turf, more than any other sales company worldwide. The Tattersalls October Yearling Sale was also the source of 18 individual Group/Grade 1 turf winners, a total unmatched by any sale in Australia, France, Ireland or the United States.
Those winners included the Champion Older Horse OMBUDSMAN, the winner of French 2000 Guineas CAMILLE PISSARRO, the Champion Two-Year-Old GEWAN and the Group 1 winning filly VENETIAN SUN, all purchased at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
That unparalleled racecourse success was reflected in the strength of the market at the 2025 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, where a remarkable 189 yearlings sold for 300,000 guineas or more, representing 76 per cent of the European total.
They were headlined by the two highest priced yearlings in the world and sixteen lots that sold for 1,000,000 guineas or more.
Your continued support has established Tattersalls as the hub of the European bloodstock industry and we look forward to presenting catalogues that continue to attract the global audience that the quality yearlings on offer deserve and that consignors and vendors have come to expect.
Matthew Prior Managing Director
