This is a reminder that we have officially entered the colder time of the year All vacuum units will now require winterization- whether they are stored inside or outside Antifreeze can be located in the drivers oil room in the new building Provided below is a general step by step procedure for winterization of a vacuum unit (Found HERE)
We will utilize the old shop as a parking structure to keep our most essential units indoors The air lines in the old shop will be functional again shortly so operators will be able to air tiresetc Units that will be stored indoors will include WB 494, 495, 497, and the pea shooter These will be parked on the north wall of the (old) main shop area Additionally, the milk truck, a combo unit, 536, 867, 831, and 845 will all be subject to indoor storage depending on how much room there is at any given time. We will be developing a map that will illustrate the desired lay out in the coming days as well as hosting a winterization procedure meeting like we did last year.
