I joined Taplin 4 years ago as a jobsite admin at Allied. I was working as a manager of a dog daycare & wanted a “boring office job” �� After a few months at Allied, Steve kicked me out of the job trailer & I stepped into the Remediation Coordinator role. I have to say, it’s been anything but a “boring office job” but each day brings a new challenge & opportunity to grow! My free time is spent crafting, baking, camping with my husband and pup or chasing our nieces and nephews around. I checked something big off my bucket list last week & graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences. My next bucket list item is to hike or visit as many of the national parks as I can. My “why” really comes down to the people I work with. As a Coordinator, I like being able to help where I can and just keep things moving day to day. I try to be someone my team can come to, whether that’s for help, questions, or just figuring things out together. I’m always learning as I go and trying to get better, and I really appreciate being part of a team where people support each other. At the end of the day, I just want to do my part and contribute in a positive way.
