We celebrate those people who make Northern New Mexico a special place to live. We are honoring eight Unsung Heroes — people who contribute to our community in remarkable ways without any desire for recognition. And then there is the 2014 Citizen of the Year. Recent Citizens of the Year have been Volunteer Fire Chief Jim Fambro, educators Jim and Mary Gilroy, and fashion designer Patricia Michaels. So who is the 2014 Citizen of the Year?
