This thesis aims to subvert traditionally heteronormative structures of power, formally and sociopolitically, in order to reclaim space for queer people in a stubborn landscape.
This undergraduate design thesis acts as a culmination of my first five years in architecture. Its aims and aspirations diverge from a majority of my home institution's own methodologies and design pedagogy, but perfectly encapsulate my personal and academic transformation over what feels like the first five years of my life. Thank you to all of my family, friends, colleagues, mentors, and queer pals I haven't met yet.
