THE LION'S DEN Merlions Relay ROAR! The Merlions hosted their first external swim meet last Friday at the wonderful TCB Aquatic Centre, named the Merlions Relay Roar, versus GESS and SJI International Schools. 140 swimmers competed for the three schools with many personal best performances swum in what was the first competition of the swimming calendar. Across the 12 total relay events in the 10-11 years and 12-13 years Boys and Girls categories, the Merlions came out on top winning 5 events, just ahead of GESS’ 4 and SJI 3 relay victories. A highlight was the Merlions 10-11 Boys age group, winning 2 relays and narrowly missing out on taking all three – great swimming Flynn, Kai, Daiki, Forrest, Ives, Benoit, Marcus, Max, and all Merlions whom competed at the event.
