Historic Treble: Tanglin Touch Crowned Champions Across Three Major Tournaments

The Touch programme at Tanglin Trust School has reached an extraordinary milestone in 2026, securing championship titles across all three of the region’s premier competitions: the SEASAC Touch Tournament, the ACSIS Touch Championships, and the Pan Pacific Touch Championships. This historic achievement marks the first time in the programme’s 16-year history that Tanglin has won all three major titles in a single year, an accomplishment that may be unmatched among international schools in the past decade.

The Tanglin Touch programme began in 2009, when a small but determined squad of just 10 players spanning Year 7 to Year 12 travelled to compete in their first SEASAC tournament at Bangkok Patana School. From those humble beginnings, the programme steadily grew, later joining ACSIS competitions hosted at Singapore American School and becoming a regular competitor in the Pan Pacific Championships, formerly known as the Asian All Schools Championships.

THE LION'S DEN

A squad of 17 players, supported by two dedicated coaches, combined skill, determination, and unity to deliver a clean sweep of all three tournaments. Their success reflects not only talent but also the strength and depth developed within the programme over many years.

Throughout the season, the team demonstrated exceptional resilience, overcoming challenging moments and fiercely contested matches. Their unwavering team spirit, grit, and commitment to one another enabled them to perform at the highest level and establish themselves as one of the strongest teams to represent Tanglin.

This historic treble is a testament to the growth and legacy of the Tanglin Touch programme. Built on years of dedication, development, and passion, the 2026 squad has set a new benchmark for excellence, one that will inspire future generations of players and ensure the continued success of Touch at Tanglin for years to come.

14&U Netball- ACSIS Division 1 Champions!

The 14&U Netball Team has been crowned ACSIS Division 1 Champions after an exceptional Season 2 campaign, finishing with an impeccable record of seven consecutive wins. Their dominance on court was evident from the start, delivering commanding performances throughout the season.

Beyond the impressive scorelines, the team demonstrated remarkable growth, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the league. Since the opening round, their progression has been clear combinations strengthened, decision-making sharpened and confidence grew with each match.

With half the squad made up of Year 8 players, the team was relatively young for the division. However, they rose to the challenge through hard work, discipline and strong focus. The leadership shown by the Year 9 players was instrumental, providing encouragement and support that helped the younger athletes settle quickly and perform with composure.

This Division 1 title is a testament to their unity, determination and collective belief a truly well-deserved achievement.
