Four Finals and a Breakthrough Meet for Nathalie R
Congratulations to Nathalie R on h outstanding performances at the 202 Australian Age Nationals on the Go Coast last week.
Competing at her fourth Australia Nationals, this was by far Nathalie strongest showing to date, qualifyin for four individual finals against th best 17-year-old swimmers in th country.
Nathalie placed:
4th in the 100m Butterfly (1:01.27)
6th in the 200m Freestyle (2:03.51
7th in the 50m Freestyle (26.01)
8th in the 100m Freestyle (56.36)
In a testament to the depth and quality of this age group, her 100m Freestyle time would have secured gold in the 18-year-old category.
To reach multiple finals at this level and race with confidence and belief against world class age group swimmers, is a positive step in Nathalie’s swimming career.

Tanglin Gymnastics Excels at UWCSEA Dover Phoenix Invitational
Tanglin Gymnastics had an outstanding showing at the UWCSEA Dover Phoenix Invitational (18–19 April), delivering a weekend full of achievement, teamwork, and school spirit.
A total of 65 athletes competed across WAG Levels 3–7 and MAG Levels 1–4, representing Tanglin with pride. Every level secured podium finishes both individually and as a team - a remarkable accomplishment that reflects the hard work and dedication of the entire squad. Many athletes also achieved personal bests, making the results even more meaningful.
In Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, highlights included a team Silver for WAG Level 3 and a team Gold for WAG Level 4. Across all levels, Tanglin gymnasts consistently placed in the top ranks on vault, bars, beam, and floor, with multiple athletes earning All-Around podium finishes.

In Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, Tanglin athletes also impressed. MAG Level 2 secured a team Gold, with strong individual performances across all apparatus. MAG Level 3 and 4 saw exceptional performances across all events and the All-Around as well!
Tanglin brought home a total of 25 Gold, 32 Silver, and 25 Bronze medals from our youngest Y3 gymnasts to our Y10 gymnast! A truly fantastic achievement for our students!
Beyond the medals, what stood out most was the incredible team spirit. Athletes supported one another throughout the competition, celebrating successes and encouraging each other every step of the way.
