THE LION'S DEN Junior Merlions Shine at GESS Tri-Friendly Meet The Junior Merlions took a team of 40 swimmers to the GESS Tri Friendly meet alongside SJII, our third comeptition together for the year. The team returned with plenty of medals and many personal best times, with many of our younger Merlions racing externally for the first time and having a fantastic experience at the meet. Special Shoutouts to our U10 gold medallists Elias was our top performer of the meet, securing 3 individual Gold medals Agnes – our youngest participant at just 7 years old – achieved an impressive 1 Gold and 2 Silvers. Ziqi, competing for Merlions for the first time, had an outstanding debut with 1 Gold and 2 Silvers. Ophelia D swam strongly in her age group, earning 2 Golds and 1 Silver. Overall, it was a fantastic opportunity for the swimmers to gain valuable racing experience, build confidence, and showcase their hard work in training.
