ART & DESIGN Year 11-13 Art Residential to Sydney, Australia 11-16 September Year 11-13 students head to Sydney, Australia, for their art residential.
Year 12 Life Drawing Classes October We are delighted to welcome practising artist Priscilia Kheng to work with our Year 12 students over a series of consecutive evening sessions. Students have the opportunity to explore life drawing, a fundamental part of Art education.

Chen Shitong – Year 12 Printmaking Workshops November Chen Shitong returns to Tanglin for his annual printmaking workshop with our Year 12 students.
Year 11 and Year 13 Coursework Days November Art students in Years 11 and 13 have the chance to work for a sustained period of time on rounding off their coursework unit.

Cobis Musical Theatre Festival
Year 13, 6 & 8 October Year 11, 4-6 November
12-14 November, 5.30pm, Berrick Performance Hall
Student-devised drama examination pieces showcase creativity, collaboration and independent research. Through creating and performing original work, students employ higher-order thinking skills such as analysis, evaluation and synthesis. They solve problems, make informed artistic decisions, respond to feedback and refine ideas, developing communication, leadership, resilience and confidence while taking ownership of the creative process.
The COBIS Musical Theatre Festival, powered by London International Theatrical Arts (LITA), is a three-day showstopper for British international school students, celebrating young talent while building lasting global friendships. Held at Tanglin Trust School, MT Fest is more than an arts festival. It is a launchpad for confidence, creativity, and collaboration, bringing together aspiring performers, West End professionals, and students from across the world. Over three exciting days, participants will enjoy singing, dancing, acting, and creative collaboration led by West End experts. The programme includes inspiring workshops, keynote talks, Q&A sessions, and a dazzling showcase competition, with the opportunity to perform alongside West End stars.
Drama FOBISIA 2026 26-30 Oct, NLCS GCSE Drama students are attending the FOBISIA Drama Senior Festival: Future Past at NLCS Singapore from 26 to 30 October 2026. Collaborating with the acclaimed HandleBards Theatre Company, participants will explore the theme of memory and innovation through workshops, devised performance, and creative collaboration with students from across Asia.
Dance Show 2 November, 5pm, Berrick Performance Hall Tanglin’s 8th Annual Dance Show is a student-led initiative, organised this year by Jocelyn and Coco of Year 13. With over 60 students from Years 7 to 13 taking part, the performances will be a joyful celebration of Team Tanglin, showcasing the talent, creativity, and spirit of our community.
Come along to the final showcase performance in the Berrick on Saturday, 14 November, at 5.30pm.
ANTIGONE (Year 10-13) 3 December, 5.30pm, Chandran Theatre It’s party time in Thebes! The war is over, the city has a new ruler, and the future looks bright...what could possibly go wrong? The stage is set for the tragedy of Antigone, the devoted yet defiant princess determined to honour her dead brother, whatever the cost. Standing in her way is her uncle Creon, king and lawmaker. This inventive retelling of Sophocles' 2,500-year-old masterpiece combines humour, energy and dynamic staging to place the audience at the heart of the action. As family loyalty collides with the rule of law, one question remains: Who is right... state or family?
A Monster Calls (Year 9) 8 December, 5pm, Chandran Theatre Something is coming. At midnight, a monster appears. But why has he come? What does he want? And what terrible truth does Conor need to face? Step into a world of darkness, dreams, fear, and impossible truths as Conor encounters a monster unlike any he has ever imagined. Haunting, powerful, and moving, A Monster Calls is a story about the things we fear most — and the courage it takes to confront them. The monster is waiting. Are you brave enough to answer the call?

Informal Concert 23 September/19 November, 5.30pm, Recital Room An opportunity for musicians of all ages and abilities to perform in front of a small, supportive audience. These concerts are designed to support our musicians as they develop performance skills and confidence.
Music in the Mornings 28 September-2 October, 7.45am, Bus Bay This week-long event celebrates talented musicians from across the Infant, Junior and Senior Schools, providing an opportunity for them to share their music with an appreciative audience of peers, parents, and staff. What better way to start the day?
Centenary Music Scholars’ Concert 1 October, 6pm, CHIJMES Hall An hour-long concert performed by this year’s cohort of Centenary Music Scholars, featuring a broad range of solos and chamber music. Tickets by invitation only.
80 students and staff from Tanglin are performing 4 concerts as part of this amazing cultural tour to Tuscany and Padua. Highlights will include tours or Florence, Lucca, Pisa, and Venice,
Spotlight Concert 4 November, 6.30pm, SOTA Concert Hall This exciting concert will feature a number of our more advanced music ensembles performing a broad range of musical genres in the prestigious SOTA Concert Hall. This is always one of the musical highlights of the term, so book your tickets early!
Remembrance Sunday 8 November, 7am, Kranji War Memorial The annual Remembrance Service at Kranji War Memorial is a beautiful and poignant event in which Tanglin students will perform as part of a combined school choir.
Formal Solo and Chamber Music Concert 19 November, 6pm, Recital Room This formal hour-long recital, held in the intimate setting of our Recital Room, will feature a mix of soloists and small chamber ensembles, presenting a varied programme of music.
Showcase Concert 17 November, 6pm, Berrick Performance Hall This concert, open to everyone in the Tanglin community, showcases the impressive achievements of our beginner and intermediate musical ensembles, as they present a varied programmme of music.
Carol Singing Hilton Hotel, 19 November Tanglin Mall, 5 December Fusionpolis, 10 December Join our choirs from Infant, Junior and Senior schools at one of their carol singing sessions to get into the Christmas spirit.
Tanglin Philharmonia Concert 22 November, 6pm, Lee Foundation Theatre Presented by the Tanglin Philharmonia and conducted by Rob Hall, with musicians from Tanglin Trust School, this concert features a vibrant programme of orchestral works celebrating the energy, colour and drama of the classical repertoire.
Christmas Fair 27-28 November, Berrick Performance Hall Do your Christmas shopping to the sound of music by our ensembles and choirs.
St George’s Festival of Music 4 December, 6.30pm. St George’s Church For many in the Tanglin community, the Festival of Music at St. George’s Church marks the start of the season of Christmas. Audience members will be treated to festive music performed by Infant, Junior and Senior students, followed by mulled wine, mince pies and carol singing in the courtyard.
Christmas Jazz Night 7 December, 6pm, The Chandran Studio An opportunity to enjoy our fabulous jazz ensembles in a relaxed setting, rounding off a busy term. There will be old standards, modern tunes, and a few festive favourites thrown in for good measure!
Concerto Competition Rounds 8-9 December, 6.30pm, Recital Room Now into its second year, the Concerto Competition enables students performing ‘beyond Grade 8 standard’ or working towards/holding a performance diploma a more advanced platform. Three runners-up will perform a concerto movement live with the Tanglin Philharmonia Orchestra, with the winner performing an entire concerto in a special concert later in the year.
FILM Year 13 Film Production Day 25 September Year 13 Film students will engage in film production projects, developing technical film and media skills and participating in creative, real-world, and collaborative group activities.
Year 12 Hitchcock Production Day 30 October, The Moot Year 12 Film and Media students will engage in film production projects related to the work of the famous director, Alfred Hitchcock. They will develop technical film and media skills and participate in creative and collaborative group activities as they attempt to emulate the work of the great director.
Year 12/13 A-Level Film Production Weekend 13 November A and AS Level Media Studies students will spend an intensive long weekend focusing on the principal photography for their coursework - the opening to a thriller for Year 12 and a music video for Year 13. They will work collaboratively in production groups, with each student directing their own project.
MediaCorp Tour 19 November MediaCorp has invited Year 12 IB and A Level Film and Media students for a tour of their departments and production facilities.
