CSA Summer Share Week 14

Community Driven Fundraiser! Thursday!

Tacos + Nachos

w/Live Music by Sawtooth Witch

Wise Acre and Tangletown Gardens

are proud partners of Community Driven.

Join us for an evening of food and music in support of the great work they do! Community Driven rescues food from partners like local restaurants and re-distributes it to area food shelves.

Since beginning the FoodShare program in May 2019, they've saved over $1 million of edible food from dumpsters - cutting down on food waste and getting it to the people who need it most.

Wise Acre/TTG will match up to $2k in donations through September 25th AND donate 10% of total sales from the event!

This week! Thursday, September 25th 4pm-8pm

No reservations - just come hungry! All are welcome.

Join us @ Wise Acre for a fun night of good food, live music and giving back! This week!

Donate over $100 and you'll get a $25 Wise Acre Gift Card to use on Thursday Night or anytime! .

WELCOME TO 2025 CSA - Week 14 Highlights

(S) - Small Share, (M) - Medium Share, (L) - Large Share

This key indicates which share sizes get what produce. Different share sizes will often receive different produce. We will vary what goes into the share each week to spread the bounty equitably to all members.

There are times when mother nature puts a kink in our plans, so while we can't guarantee that all of these items will be in your share, you can expect to see most of them and sometimes a few extras.

Add-on’s this week: Baker’s Field Bagels, R&R Cultivation Golden Oysters Mushrooms, Shepherd’s Way Cheese, Kopplins Coffee

Koginut Squash M,L

Arugula M,L

For maximum health benefits eat raw or slighty cooked Great in salads, pasta, pizza or on a sandwich.

Koginut squash, also known as Robin's Koginut or Autumn Frost, is a flavorful hybrid winter squash prized for its creamy texture and sweet, nutty taste. It was developed for flavor by Row 7 Seeds, a seed company that collaborated with chefs and farmers

Carrots M,L

Carrots weren't always orange, they were once purple, white, yellow, or red, with Dutch farmers breeding the orange carrot in the 17th century to honor their royal family, the House of Orange.

A creamy potato with bright white skin, white flesh Great for chips or roasted.

Dakota Pearl Potatoes S,M,L

Kale Redbor M,L

Beautiful, ruffled leaves are tasty and have amazing color. Redbor's' purple color and curliness intensifies, and flavor sweetens as temperatures drop in the fall

Red Onions

S,M,L

Known for their vibrant color and slightly spicier, sweeter flavor, making them ideal for raw uses like salads and salsas, as well as for grilling or pickling.

Bok Choy

S,M,L

One of my favorite free resources is perfect for incorporating this beautiful Bok Choy Serious Eats Stir Fry 101

Cherry Belle Radish M,L

Grab a loaf of bread from Wise Acre and make my favorite Radish treat.

Scallions

S

Chop for use as a topper on soup, stew or a stir fry They are also great grilled as a side dish

Honeynut Squash

It has edible skin and a nutty and exceptionally sweet flavor that intensifies when roasted The high sugar content means it caramelizes beautifully when cooked.
