Tangent Together began with a simple but powerful idea: to bring our community closer, celebrate our shared roots, and support one another Since then, it has blossomed into a vibrant nonprofit that plays a vital role in making Tangent a welcoming and connected place to live
Through a variety of events like the Tangent Harvest Festival, our cornerstone celebration featuring tractors, farms, and hometown traditions, as well as popular gatherings such as the St Patrick’s Day Online Auction, Bingo at the Dixie, the City Wide Garage Sale, Winter Social, and the recent Summer Movie Night Tangent Together brings families, friends, and neighbors together to honor what makes our town truly special
But Tangent Together is much more than just fun events We are a 100% volunteer-run group, fueled by passionate community members who dedicate their time and energy throughout the year Our primary goal is to raise funds that will establish a scholarship program to support local students and invest in Tangent’s future
By organizing these events and social gatherings, our volunteers create meaningful opportunities for connection and celebration all while working toward this important mission Their dedication strengthens the spirit of Tangent and helps ensure our town continues to grow and thrive for generations to come
