Like much of the West, we faced a challenging start to winter, with early snow conditions requiring patience, flexibility, and a focused operational approach. Thanks to the dedication of our mountain operations team and staff across the resort, Tamarack opened safely and set the stage for a strong winter season as conditions continue to improve. The past year marked important progress for Tamarack. From navigating early-season conditions to welcoming guests back to our vibrant Village, it’s been rewarding to see owners, members, and guests embracing the Tamarack lifestyle. Time spent skiing together, gathering at Mid-Mountain Lodge, and celebrating throughout the holidays served as a reminder that Tamarack is about connection, community, and shared experiences. Looking ahead to 2026, we’re excited to continue expanding what Tamarack offers. This winter, we’re proud to introduce Elevation Studio. Designed as a year-round hub for movement, recovery, and mindfulness, Elevation Studio will offer yoga, fitness, and mobility classes, along with exclusive Club Member programming that supports life on the mountain in every season. Additionally, the coming months bring some of our most anticipated events. We look forward to welcoming guests and members to Monthly Full Moon Snowshoe Experiences, Disco on Disco on February 14th, SNOWFORT on March 6th and 7th – a high-energy winter experience that continues to grow as a signature Tamarack event. These moments— paired with expanding terrain and improving conditions—create opportunities to gather, celebrate, and enjoy mountains as they should be. A full calendar of events and experiences can be found on our website. Beyond the slopes, Tamarack’s growth continues with intention. Our real estate offerings are expanding, with townhomes now rising and additional neighborhoods taking shape across the resort. THE McMILLAN FAMILY When we met Ryan and Lesly McMillan, it was immediately clear how much Tamarack has become a gathering place for their family. Emmett natives who still call the town home, the McMillans have spent years exploring Valley County—camping in Cascade, riding snowmobiles, and enjoying everything the mountains have to offer. Then, after renting a house on Sugarloaf for the weekend, they fell in love with the Village, the Mid-Mountain Lodge, and the relaxed, friendly energy of the resort. Today, the McMillans spend nearly every weekend at Tamarack. We sat down with Ryan and Lesly to hear more about their journey and what life at Tamarack means for their family.
Q: YOU’RE FROM EMMETT AND HAVE SPENT A LOT OF TIME IN VALLEY COUNTY. WHAT MADE TAMARACK STAND OUT? LESLY: We’ve always loved this area—Cascade, the lake, everything. But last spring our son was doing a snowmobile hill climb, and we rented a house on Sugarloaf for the weekend. We just fell in love with it. The Village, the Mid-Mountain Lodge—everything was amazing. It felt like this whole little world we hadn’t explored before. Q: HOW DID YOU FIND YOUR HOME IN PINNACLE PLACE ESTATES? LESLY: We were up here camping in Cascade last summer, and our son found a listing online. We drove up to take a look, met Hayden Tanner, and Kaila came down too. We fell in love with it right away. We loved it so much I think we put an offer in right away! It all just felt right! Q: TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY AND WHAT YOU ENJOY DOING UP HERE. LESLY: We have two kids—a 20-year-old son and a 17-year-old daughter who’s a senior this year. Our son is into biking trails and snowmobiling, and our daughter snowboards. We’re all planning to get back into skiing together. Really, we’re going to try a little bit of everything up here—there’s a lot to offer! RYAN: We come almost every weekend—we’ve only missed two weekends since buying the place. We even spent Christmas up here. Q: WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO BUY A HOME AT TAMARACK? LESLY: We loved the idea of having a place where we could all be together. And the lifestyle here is incredible. You can jump on an electric bike and ride down for a fancy steak—or go to the sports bar and grab some hot wings. The kids can borrow bikes or head to the Marina. It just feels like its own little community. RYAN: I’m kind of a redneck, honestly, and for me to feel like I fit in here—that’s just awesome. Everyone has been friendly and easygoing. It just feels like its own little community. Q: WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT LIFE AT TAMARACK SO FAR? LESLY: The whole thing is beautiful. But really, it’s all about our family being together. That’s what matters most to us. We bought this place for the long haul.

TEA M PROFILE Q&A: WITH BAILEY DOST, WELLNESS MANAGER
Originally from Idaho, Bailey Dost has spent the past decade teaching yoga everywhere from major Las Vegas studios to small, tight-knit communities in Alaska. Now in her third winter at Tamarack, Bailey leads yoga, fitness, mobility, and wellness programming for Club Members—bringing a soulful, whole-person approach to the resort’s expanding wellness offerings. We sat down with her to learn more about her journey and her vision for the new Elevation Studio.
Q: YOU GREW UP COMING TO TAMARACK. WHAT LED YOU TO TEACH HERE? BAILEY: I’ve been coming to Tamarack and playing on the mountain since I was a kid, so joining the team felt like coming home. After Boise State, I taught in Las Vegas—where I learned to read a room and cue to all abilities from average practitioners to Cirque du Soleil performers. From there I moved to Alaska, which deepened my love for nature and movement. Hot yoga helped me balance that lifestyle. I’ve been teaching for about ten years now, picking up certifications along the way. I fell in love with the mind–body– breath connection—it’s something that moves beyond the mat. It’s made me a better parent, a more grounded friend, and has given me more confidence and mobility in all my mountain activities. When a role opened at Tamarack, I jumped at the opportunity and am grateful everyday to live and play here. Q: WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT TEACHING AT TAMARACK? BAILEY: I love how my classes can directly enhance others’ time on the mountain. I hear testimonials of how the classes improve golf swings or lengthen the amount of time someone can be out shredding in powder before feeling fatigued. People are hiking stronger and moving with more confidence on the mountain through intentional strength and alignment based classes. Q: YOU’VE BECOME A KEY LEADER IN CLUB WELLNESS PROGRAMMING. HOW DO YOU SUPPORT CLUB MEMBERS? BAILEY: My goal is to help Club Members feel supported in their wellness year-round. That means creating holistic offerings from classes to workshops help them decompress, reconnect, and grow—whether they’re here for a weekend or the whole season. I’ve led meditations, women’s circles, mindful hikes, snowga sessions, and much more. And I regularly connect with a network of herbalists, photographers, authors, and nutritionists to support a holistic, playful approach to Club wellness. My goal is for members to experience wellness in a way that feels accessible, soulful, and seamlessly integrated with life on the mountain.

BAILEY: I see Elevation Studio as a year-round wellness hub—a private sanctuary where people can add to their daily life or vacation through intentional, mindful movement. For Club Members especially, it’s a place to deepen practice, stay consistent, and access offerings tailored just for them. We’ll be offering daily yoga, Pilates, mobility, and fitness classes, along with après-ski stretching in winter and group hikes and outdoor yoga in the summer. By shifting Club classes to Elevation Studio, the Club Fitness Center will be a fully accessible, always-available gym space for members. This move allows us to expand Elevation Studio member-only programming with exclusive workshops, enhanced seasonal challenges, specialty series, and private small-group classes. But relocating classes to Elevation Studio will keep their gym open, spacious, and ready for Club Member use all year long. It’s designed so members can build routines that support athletic recovery, mental clarity, and overall well-being—no matter the season. And the retail nook will offer oils, mats, and tools that enhance their practice. Q: WHAT’S THE BEST-KEPT SECRET ABOUT TAMARACK? BAILEY: The in-between moments. The chairlift chats, the quick walks between classes, seeing friends unexpectedly. Those little pockets of presence—that’s where the magic really is. Q: ONE SKILL YOU’D LOVE TO LEARN? BAILEY: How to spiritually connect with all living things. That awareness is a lifelong journey. Q: WHAT WOULD YOU TELL YOUR 13-YEAR-OLD SELF? BAILEY: Follow your intuition. You’re doing great, kid.
