PATTERSON CABIN READYING FOR RE-GRAND OPENING AND MORE By CLIFF WILLIAMS News Editor

hen taken care of, a home can last a long time. Just look at the Patterson Cabin in East Tallassee. For the last three decades, the Talisi Historical Preservation Society has slowly been making improvements to the two-room dogtrot log cabin. Along the way, the society has partnered with the Friends of Tuckabatchee
on Washington Street just across the Funtasic Fort and the Tallassee Fire Department Station 2. Fifth Judicial Circuit District Attorney Mike Segrest said on his Facebook page Wednesday night he was aware of the shooting and spoke with law enforcement that was on the scene.
