following the incident. Because the investigation is still ongoing, law enforcement did not say whether the incident was intentional or the motive behind it if not. However, ACPD Sgt. Drew A. EPSTEIN Machen, who is the lead investigator on the case, said the cou-

for the 14th annual Beulah Baptist Church teacher appreciation luncheon. All say it started with Dottie Carnes. “This is not done by me,” Carnes said. “This is done by so many hands. I might do the running but that is it.”
