Weather issues have forced the Tallassee City Council to change burial requirements at the Rose Hill cemetery. Currently several graves without vaults have had dirt sink. Tallassee Mayor Sarah Hill and those in the cemetery department have researched the city’s policies at other cemeteries and came up with a solution — vaults for new burials. “We are having problems especially with all this rain of sinking,” Hill told the council. “I know it will increase costs but we already require vaults See ROSE, Page A6

he Dadeville community is in mourning after a mass shooting Saturday night

that left four people dead and 32 others wounded. The shooting occurred around 10:34 p.m. Saturday, according to officials, at Mahogany Masterpiece in downtown Dadeville. Jeremy Burkett, Alabama
