Since 1982, Taiga has been developing workwear for the advanced user — professionals who, in their daily work, are faced with challenging tasks in both demanding environments and weather conditions.
As it was in the beginning, our aim is still to contribute to a safe and secure working environment for all our users. Our philosophy is to create functional, durable, and sustainable products of the best quality. That’s why we never compromise when it comes to materials, accessories, or details in our designs.
Just over twenty years ago, when we began to develop products for the Military and Law Enforcement, they were manufactured according to the same philosophy and always in close collaboration with relevant experts in each field.
Our interest in understanding humans, and how we are affected by climate and other external factors has been a strong driving force in developing the products that we offer today to proud Taiga users around the world.

Understanding how the human body works in different temperatures and working conditions is critical to ensuring a good working environment over an extended period. To maintain good performance and the ability to concentrate, you need to control temperature and moisture in your clothing system.
Therefore, our clothing system philosophy is based on a multi-layer principle that allows easy adjustment of your heat and moisture balance. Functional garments should keep you dry, warm and secure without restricting your movement or performance.
Each layer in the clothing system has its specific function, and the garments complement each other in an efficient way.
The layer closest to the body that eliminates moisture and keeps you dry.
The middle layer, that insulates generates heat inside the clothing system.
The outer layer that protects against the weather and other external factors.
CAMOUFLAGE
UNIQUE PATTERNS TO MAXIMISE YOUR PROTECTION
In our ambition to create the best possible conditions for our end users, we have developed our own unique camouflage patterns. We offer a choice of four standard camouflages, but can also print custom or national camouflage designs on demand.
With our unique camouflage technologies, you will not only get effective visual camouflage, but also maximum protection against detection by equipment in the UV, VIS, IR, and TIR spectrum.

COLD WEATHER OPERATIONS
Characteristic of operations in an Arctic or Subarctic environment is that weather conditions can quickly change between extremes. Rapid changes from damp and cold to dry and extremely cold make high demands on a uniform system. The Taiga Arctic cold weather system is built upon a multiple-layer system.
Some of our most well-known military uniforms are developed in the area around the Arctic Circle, where you often face challenges such as darkness, long distances and extreme cold. One such example is the CPA Arctic system, a popular choice for cold weather operations.
The CPA Arctic Jacket and Trousers together form an all-weather uniform that differs from most other Gore-Tex garments because of its liner system. This liner system provides better camouflage characteristics, improved moisture transportation in temperatures below the freezing point, and is fully functional, when combined with the right reinforcement garments, all the way down to extreme cold.
The jacket has ventilation in the right places when using load-bearing equipment. It has a large hood with a removable fur trim, and a total of 14 pockets to keep all important pieces of kit secure and in the right places.
The trousers have a higher back that keeps the wind out, suspenders, large thigh pockets, vent zips on the hips, wide legs and zips for easy access to boots.

Taiga’s field uniforms are optimised for functionality in a wide spectrum of operations and climates and have a multifunctional design for versatile use over extended periods of time.
Our durable and functional field jackets with trousers, underwear and reinforcement garments are adapted for different environments, challenges and weather conditions. They help you stay dry, warm and secure, protecting you from rain, wind, cold, heat and other hazards.
IMPORTANT FEATURES
MINIMUM WEIGHT
Minimising the material’s weight and bulk increases the wearer’s endurance when performing tasks. We have developed our materials to make the equipment as multifunctional as possible for maximum versatility.
CAMOUFLAGE
To reduce the risk of detection and optimise the wearer’s performance, the uniform systems are printed with camouflage patterns and offer protection in the UV, IRR and TIR wavelength ranges.
PRACTICAL STORAGE
These are specially designed pockets that allow fast, easy access to materiel such as medical trauma kits, maps, compasses, GPS units, a survival pouch and accessories such as shooting gloves.

Our assault uniform systems for rapid response are developed with unique fabrics and functions to meet the operator’s expectations of their equipment and to ensure that they work in any situation that may arise. Our Combat SF line is made in a stretch material with No-Melt, No-Drip properties. It gives you good protection, as well as capability and comfort when the intensity is high. We want you to be able to fully focus on your mission.
Combat SF CIP UAC Shirt
It is designed to work with body armour, chest rigs or other types of load-bearing vests. It has the unique combination of stretch and IR camouflage in the fabric.
The stretch material makes the shirt follow every move of the operator and therefore not hamper their agility. It has No-Melt, No-Drip protection, functional arm pockets, and elbows with space for extra protection.
Combat SF CIP Trousers
The unique combination of stretch and IR camouflage in the fabric makes the trousers follow every move of the operator and therefore not hamper their agility nor their flexibility in a demanding combat environment.
The trousers have No-Melt, No-Drip values, high-riding thigh pockets, ventilation openings and pre-bent knees with D3O protection – which is a must on hard surfaces.
