TAFE at School - Gold Coast Region 2025 CUA31020 Certificate III in Screen and Media Course Description Make a start on your career in the media with this entry-level course. This qualification will give you the foundation skills needed to work in a number of assistant roles in multimedia and web design. Research shows that creativity, communication and problem-solving will be some of the most desired skills in the future job market. This course will give you the core skills needed to work in both the creative industries and in corporate settings. Learn the practical skills and knowledge to create content for a range of media and visual design components, follow the design process, and develop and extend critical and creative thinking skills. Our highly experienced and passionate teaching team have years of industry experience and will give you the one-on-one guidance needed to prepare you for a career in multimedia.

Have access to a Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 Operating System laptop or PC. (Apple Mac, iPad are not compatible). Purchase or have access to the student version of Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs, in particular Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop and Indesign. Equipment and software is available for use at all TAFE Queensland locations. Recommended: A reliable internet connection to access TAFE Queensland's online learning system Connect, and a computer with up-to-date software.
