TAFE at School Gold Coast Region Career Taster Agriculture, Animals, Plants Program Description Get an explore a future working with animals through these skills focused program. The program introduces students to the care of animals, while building foundational knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and applied science. Through a range of engaging activities, students develop practical animal handling and observation skills suited to varying experience levels. Guided by experienced educators and industry specialists, participants gain genuine insight into animal - related study pathways and careers. The program emphasises responsible care, scientific understanding, and ethical practice, and concludes with a reflection on learning outcomes and future opportunities in animal care and wildlife fields. Topics covered: Care for Domestic Animals, Care and Rehabilitation of Native Wildlife, Animal Anatomy and Physiology, Applied Science
