Opportunity and excitement are what we see as we look forward to a wild fall in the beef cattle industry. Female shortages with a great demand, ensure high return on investment values... a shortage that will take years to fill.
This is a welcome and an invitation to be with us the evening of October 18th for an exciting event as your hosts, Lone Pine and Airriess Acres present their fall female sale. In addition, they welcome their guest consignors, HMS Hi-Cliffe, Twin View Polled Herefords, Jackson Creek Polled Herefords and JHF Herefords. Combined they offer the strongest lineup ever for your selection and evaluation.
As you go through the cattle, you will find the “right kind”... high in calving ease, high in weaning and performance and over the top in maternal data. Competitive in phenotype, this lineup offers predictable seedstock… the right kind.
Your hosts are breeders strongly involved with junior activities... raising their families in the livestock industry with a love and respect for the Polled Hereford breed. Demand for quality Hereford cattle is high as other breeds need to copy and adopt their genetic quality which is not found in an EPD... disposition, hair, rustling, and adaptability to be a successful cross with any breed.
The event is right in the middle of the “Saskatchewan Sweepsteaks” … a highlight weekend and a source of superior breeding stock. Plan to be with us at the Chopper K Sale Barn in Alameda and purchase some front pasture females.
Feel free to give me or any of the T Bar team a call if you require assistance in purchasing or selection.

WELCOME FROM YOUR HOSTS
I am happy to welcome you to our fall female sale. The cattle represent a cross section of the Lone Pine breeding program. The daughters sired by our herd sires, Glitz, Merlin, Budweiser have demonstrated they are good mothers. Pay special attention to Merlin, his calf crop is extremely consistent in terms of birth weight, depth of body and ease of fleshing. I am also excited to see how the daughters sired by Bourbon develop.
The consignment is on an annual vaccination program of Vista Once SQ, Tasvax 8, Scourguard. And all calves since 2024 receive Nasalgen 3-PMH.

Tremendous breeding potential to lead off the Lone Pine consignment. Sired by the popular herd sire GLITZ. His incredible genetics are displayed by this heifer’s over-all power, depth and pigment. And look at her udder development!
S.E. Sask Field Day class winner! Zoom Zoom 702N is going to develop into an eye appealing and productive female. Her maternal sister was a sale topper. Her grandmother’s sister was crowned champion female at both Agribition and the Toronto Royal Winter Fair, one of the few females to ever achieve that status.

S.E. Sask Field Day class winner! I am excited by this female and her sire, Merlin 28K. He is destined to be a breed trait leader for calving ease, birth weight, maternal productivity index, and feedlot merit index…I think that these are the traits that sum up profitability in the beef business. This calf puts these genetics together in a stylish package.
