Welcome to our 31st annual Justamere Angus Bull Sale. As I write this letter, we are in the greatest cattle cycle of all time, and of that there is no doubt. Record high calf prices, yearling prices, cow prices and bull sales and female sales. It is a very exciting time and I think we can all say there is no end in sight. With that stated we all need this as everything else in this world costs so much more as well. We have had a decent winter with some late snow, our drought situation has improved but it’s not over – just a lot better than where we were a year ago.

Thank you to our many customers over the last several years. We appreciate your confidence and support each and every year. I cannot be more satisfied with this year’s bull sale offering… They are a very solid set of bulls. With calving ease, carcass quality, maternal and performance bred into them for a very long time. We are proud of the fact that we at Justamere have this consistency for you, our customer. The average birthweight on this group of bulls is 79 lbs. and the average weaning weight in early September was a very solid above average 836 lbs. That is hard to do but we have done it consistently for many years now.

We added another great AI sire into our program in 2025 –Basin Jameson. There are three sons in this sale and they are very remarkable. Long, deep and very stout with above average data and performance, yet still a consistent lower than average birthweight. I think we all can agree that a live calf is very important nowadays.

Our Justamere Jaegar bulls are again very deep, soggy and boast a tremendous amount of soundness of design, very deep ribbed, very sound and athletic, and are big enough to tackle the cow herd or heifers, and improve your herd from day one.

The EXAR Safeguard sons are some of our best and we will have more available in the future. Check out the picture of this tank of a herdsire – it will shock and impress you.

At Justamere, our main concern has always been our customers. My Dad and Grandpa both believed fully in keeping tham happy and satisfied, and that continues on today.

Pictures were done yesterday, March 10. It was a nice day and we had a great crew. I want to thank those young men and women for a great job.

We want you to look at the bulls, have a tour, and also come look at their mothers – you will not be disappointed.

With the addition of KR Crusade last year, his first calves are amazing and we hope to have our newest herd bull home by sale day – EXAR Tradesman 5128B – he is a big part of our future, and we think the future is very bright indeed in our business, as well as the cattle business. Friends, get ready for some good times.

We need to thank Mark and Joanne Shologan, the DLMS crew – they are and have become a very integral part of many, many operations. Such good, honest people to work with, and we all know they go the extra mile.

Finally, our family – the reason Shelly and I keep going. Jonny, Shay and baby Cash, Tyra, Brayden and Claryn, and William, Jimmy, Cassidy, and Jorja. Without you guys this couldn’t all happen. If you ask me, this is one of the best bulls in the sale. His sire, EXAR Safeguard is a beast of a herdsire. His dam is the most consistent female we have on the place. This bull will work on heifers or cows and improve your calf crop quickly.

These are his first 2 bulls to sell. This first bull is a very complete, well-made son of KayR Fruition 26K out of a very nice Steppler bred female he purchased in 2024. He is long and deep, and smooth shouldered – a very nice bull.

We own this bull with long time friends Wayne and Lucy Sampson. We both used him on heifers. He is a heavy and strong made bull out of Glenlees Evolve, the Supreme Champion and Canadian Western Agribition. You will drive a long while to find a Hereford bull this good. We love his markings, his thickness, and his depth. He is a very good bull.

Cattle Inspection: All carry permanent identity tags, corresponding to Sale Lot Numbers. All shall be available for inspection prior to sale.

All Cattle Are Sold: Subject to such tests as required for export under regulations of the Health of Animals Branch, Department of Agriculture for Canada - those corresponding to Bureau of Animal Industry requirements.

Breeding Guarantee: All cattle are sound and right, and all with a responsible breeder guarantee of satisfaction. In the event of any unlikely dispute, the regular terms and conditions, standard with the Canadian Aberdeen Angus Association shall apply.

Announcements: Errors discovered in the catalogue will be corrected by announcements from the auction stand at sale time and such corrections will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.

Genetics Testing: All cattle in the 2025 Bull Sale are Anthrogryposis Multiplex Free (AMF) and (NHF) Neuropothic Hydrocephalus Free or listed as No Carrier Ancestry.

Holding and Shipments: Approximately one week is required for export transfers and other documents to be processed. Export animals will be held at no charge and under excellent care. Joint export shipping arrangements to attain minimum shipping cost will gladly be made by the sale management if instructions to that effect are provided to clerk of the sale when settlement is made.

Mail Bids: May be entrusted in complete confidence to any of the Sale Staff listed or to Justamere Farms Ltd.

Insurance: Ownership risk to purchaser commences when the Auctioneer’s hammer falls. Livestock coverage will be available at the clerk’s desk from the appointed representatives on sale day, also from the sale management at any time.

Terms of Sale: Are cash or cheque at par, payable to Clerks of the Sale on Sale Day. U.S. Funds will be accepted at the current rate of exchange. No release will be given until satisfactory settlement has been made. We reserve the right to withhold animals from export shipment for whom payments have not been received prior to departure times.

Every Animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final.
