ONE OF THE LARGEST OFFERINGS OF SIMMENTAL & ANGUS BULLS ACROSS THE PRAIRIES
Now is the time to take bull buying seriously. We believe this year’s offering is the strongest we’ve ever had—loaded with more bulls than any sale in our history. You’ll find top-selected yearlings across multiple categories, along with specifically held-over two-year-olds built for performance. We demand quality. We love volume & we invite you to come see our operation.

DESIGNED WITH A PURPOSE...

Every bull in the offering will walk through the sale ring in person. We love this “old school” style of auction and plan to keep it that way. We’ve raised these cattle from the very beginning, and we’re proud to bring them to you ourselves so you have every opportunity to make your bull purchase as easy,

Welcome to our friends, our customers & fellow cattlemen.
I say the same thing every year, hard to believe our bull sale is just around the corner, only a month away. It’s an exciting time to be in the cattle business, as the market for calves is at an unprecedented high. It’s hard to believe that things have gotten stronger from last year, but I’m sure none of us will complain about that. I hope it keeps going!
From all of us at JP Cattle & Rocky Meadow Ranch, I would like to personally welcome you to our 2026 Bull Sale. We were very humbled and appreciative for all the support we received for the 2025 sale- the visitors prior to the sale, the huge crowd on sale day and all the people who watched and/or purchased off the internet, and anyone else who called or visited.
This year’s sale is filled with good functional, attractive bulls that will go out and breed your cattle so you can produce those sale topping calves or heifers that will turn into strong young cows for you. We have a very even and consistent set of bulls this year, Purebred Simmentals blacks and red, Crossbreds, Purebred Angus and once again a very nice set of two year olds. Last year was our first time selling 2’s and they were very well received. These bulls are specifically held over with this sale in mind and we feel we have assembled a group just as good if not better than last year for your appraisal.
We’ve all used the old saying, the more things change the more they stay the same. Well a lot of things change in the cattle business, new technology, new electronic tracking, fancier and more efficient equipment and many more things too numerous to mention, but at the end of the day the goals are the same to produce functional, sound and fertile bulls. We still feed a high forage TMR ration that gives us a desirable, even growth rate that we find contributes to longevity down the road for our customers. Even though with all the measures we take to produce top quality,if something is to happen to your bull we stand behind them and are always here to resolve any issue that may occur.
At this time I’d like to express our gratitude to all our family and staff who help make things tick around our farms. Floyd Martin and Alex Hamilton at RMR. Scott Webb, Thomas Selby, Andrew Bauman & Nyk Reiger who both joined us this spring, Aaron Poole and Charles Barkley and all our family members who put in countless hours to get our work done up. To the crew at T Bar C, we thank you for all the effort you put into helping us sell & market our bulls and genetics, we appreciate your support very much! To Melissa for the pictures and videos and Bennett for doing the clipping and torching to make the bulls look nice. It doesn’t happen without you folks so thank-you.
Finally on a sad note we lost 3 good friends in the cattle business this year. Vern Hall who worked at Prairie Livestock most of his life passed away while at work this fall. He purchased many head of cattle for us and from us over the years. Another was our good friend David Lane who recently passed away after a short battle with cancer. He was a soft spoken gentleman that I very much looked up to and greatly admired. He had a keen eye for cattle and always purchased our very best angus bulls. I always enjoyed my conversations with him. Lastly, Hector Lamontagne, passed away suddenly at his feedlot. Hector fed cattle for years, had a very nice cow herd, was a good farmer and always supported his community to his fullest. We will all miss these fine men.
All that being said, we’d love to have you join on March 5th here at the farm for some lunch, hospitality and fellowship. If you can’t make it sale day please don’t hesitate to stop by the farm anytime prior or phone any of the numbers listed in the book as we are all very familiar with the offering and we would be happy to answer your questions.

Bigger than ever!
What a day we’ve been planning here at the JP/RMR headquarters for one of the largest offerings of Simmental and Angus bulls across the prairies. Both these outfits are keen in the cattle business, not just selling bulls but the entire industry as a whole. The amount of cows they run in volume takes all the questions out of the equation as they have no time for poor-doing cattle in feet, temperament or performance. Only the top percentage make the grade here.
The offering this year offers diversity. whether you have heifers to breed or for your cowherd. Multiple white faced options are here along with solid colour patterns that are fresh, modern and the perfect for the new cattle era. The herdbull battery here is what sets these programs apart. The time, effort, and financial investment that they devote to their operation is astounding.—and we feel that commitment is fully reflected in the pen of bulls you are about to see.
The embryo transfer work these operations conduct is as extensive as any in the country. Many full, 7/8 and 3/4 brother bulls are on offer, which is a huge advantage to you, the buyer, as it allows you to put forth a group of bulls in one breeding pasture that are all the same blood.
When purchasing bulls and doing business with people year after year, one can’t help but to be simply impressed by these guys and girls. Always ready for any task or opportunity, they stand behind their product with pride and want your experiences here to be nothing short of positive.
All of us at T Bar C , we know these programs inside and out, so please feel free to contact any of us at anytime regarding the offering. One last thing— you can always count on a great meal with a fun and social atmosphere in the Lowes yard.
So please join us sale day for a good one!
Thank you for your interest,
Ben Wright

We know as well as anyone there’s lots of options out there. But we feel we’ve bred & managed these cattle to perform in any conditions, be profitable & have the best genetic merit possible of our largest offering ever. Listed here are just a few reasons why we feel confident in endorsing a JP/RMR Bull(s).
You run into a bull jam or have an issue with a purchased bull from here, we’d like to think we offer as much service in a timely fashion as anyone can. We run a large number of bulls, so a replacement bull isn’t an issue and we will address any problems promptly and with integrity.
Over the last 10 years, we’ve been as aggressive as we can while purchasing some of the best known herdbulls anywhere. We feel it shows through our cowherd and of course in the bull pens. We offer multiple Full brothers, 7/8 brothers and 3/4 brothers as any operation with our ET program.
Besides the odd hockey/ sports conversation and farm equipment, we literally talk cows our entire day, all day. It’s all we know and we love it. Everything around this ranch all year is based on decisions for our bull sale. We pride ourselves in doing the best and having the best.
Between JP & RMR we calve nearly 1000 purebred cows and another additional 900 commercial cows. So we know how a cow works and how to make them generate profit. We are proud of our entire herd and offering 160 bulls based on those cow herd numbers means only the top 18% of our calf crop makes the sale. We’ve sorted ‘em down for the best cut to sell.

A pen we are proud to offer. We’ve worked awfully hard to make ‘em this good. You’ll notice hair, big backs and full of red meat off these guys. Also lots of white faced bulls that never seem to go out of style are in here. One other thing we love is how docile these guys are. Come walk through them and you’ll see for yourself.

Leading the charge for ‘26 Bull Sale is this whopper of a baldy that is backed by a prime Man O War daughter that is one of the best we got. This rascal comes with a modest BW and will have one of the top sale day weights . Massively made like his daddy, we take a lot of pride in our lot 1 bull annually and 107N fits the bill to tee. Power matched with calving ease and have a striking big back look makes this stout hairy fella one of the top bulls in the entire offering.

90N is the brother with shape, natural muscle and excellent hair coat. Note the excellent mother behind these rascals, but their look alone is what we strive for. Being maternal siblings to Estevan helps marketability, but the quality and early maturity these brothers display will make profitable offspring with one cross. Huge WW & YW epds.

The brother with the chrome, this eye catcher will command your attention. With as much tomorrow bred in as any like his brothers. This bull will make a lot of short lists come sale day . 015M has that extra stretch with added muscle to earn nothing but prosperity for the new owner.

Masculine made Dimensional with cow power galore behind him. His maternal grand mother has been a pillar here at JP and plan to keep every daughter off this good looking creature. When you incorporate Dimensional you get that extra shove in terms of thickness and balance along with added bonus of a baldy.

A picture pen favourite, this Walk the Line x McDavid cross is very ideal. Important to mention that thick shaggy haircoat, but just look at the length and muscle this tomcat has that also walks around like the rooster of the pen. Huge hip and stout deep hind quarter, this bull gets noticed in the pen. Calves sired by this guy will definitely help anyone’s bottom line.

Stout, attractive, and full of mass…what more could you ask for? Packing muscle, bone, and balance, an outstanding conformation isn’t a question. Tying in a top 10% CW and a top 15% in YW, this guy will add umph to any calf crop.
Built powerful, bold and correct. Take a look at his top 15% WW, and 10% YW, you get it all in one package. Performance is not a question with this one!

Talk about look! Long, smooth and captivating, 78N is going to make you stop and stare. Analyze his numbers, and see those moderate CE and BW percentages… all of the boxes will be checked.

A pair of top grading flush brothers that come highly recommended. Their performance sire has made a mark in the industry while maintaining modest BW. Donor dam 95F adds substance and material that often not found in a highly productive cow. 95F has size and superior udder quality and enhances this guys future down the road. Homo polled, 92 BW and top 1% YW. This guy is ready for the cows!

A real looker with a body pattern ideal as any in the sale. Fantastic pedigree insures a very solid outcome when pursuing this fella. We love cattle like 94N that have that explosive hip, great hind leg with skull we’d love on every cattle beast.

Dimensional makes them powerful, and this guy is no different. Hitting those impressive YW and WW rankings, 52N has the performance numbers to back him up. Full of mass and shape, he will throw some extra muscle and power in his calf crop.
Colour didn’t shy away here, but neither did length or depth. Attractive and impressive, let 19N carry those traits into his babies.

scare you, this
and muscle for days.
Flashy, smooth and long… throw in 5015C to the pedigree and you got the best of both worlds. Add on those YW and WW numbers, everything comes together for this guy.

Every time we just look over the pen into the reds we see 276N. The cover boy himself, this is a very good bull for the most discriminating cattle person. Houston cattle are where we want to be in terms of make , BW , WW and maturity. It’s worth the trip to just see this guy as well feel he is one of the very top bulls in the entire offering.

One of the heavyweights with loads of purpose. This baldy bull is proud and is a great example how Houston has bred here. This guy can cover a lot of cows, has that extra length, shape and will add pounds come weaning.

One of our most go to crosses is the 5015 x Tesla combo. This time in a red colour. You can just see the maternal characteristics while still having ample herdbull character. One of the short list bulls forsure in the offering, this guy will do a man’s job and last forever doing so.
TESLA 6E SPRINGCREEK MISTRESS 17B

Without being super repetitive, this cross just works . The Tesla dam here is a producer with an excellent track record. But again 5015 cattle work and never go out of style. Use this user friendly buddy and expect big things. Resulting offspring will clave easily, grow and turn into ideal cattle with pedigree of longevity.

A real soft sided big topped Ranch Boss son that carries himself with ease. Extremely free moving with depth and hair. With a touch more shape then some, you’ll notice this candidate to be a bit more outcross in pedigree to some of our offering. Non dilutor and Homo polled to have the best possible outcome on resulting progeny.

A low BW Rancher designed for the cattle era we are in. White faced, hairy with growth. We feel this is a calf that will only keep coming on and be a dual purpose bull for which ever pen you may choose to use him is . Calm natured and easy in the eyes, these are the kind that are maintenance free.

No matter how you score or grade your cattle, 2N gets found. This double digit calving ease bull has the shape and command we love. Very smooth shouldered and great headed, put a big hatched beside this guys lot number. Monument has been very good to use in the heifer pen and this is a perfect example of his contributions

We love how this guy pictured and can see his perfect skull well. Dark red, great bodied and sound. Typical of the 5015 cattle that have been incredible daughters in our herd. Check that double digit CE EPD and make sure you look him up sale day. Easy keeping and easy going, a very ideal herdsire prospect.

Just like his brother above… a body for days and a guarantee for performance. Look at that blaze and take a look at that body. This boy is strong topped, good looking and has the balance we all crave. Analyze his numbers and he’s high performance bound.

Nug Huston 13J has made some impressive bulls, and 323N is no different. Even with a later birth-date, he isn’t lacking any growth needed to keep up with this pen!

This end of January, Ranch Boss’ son has shape for days. Attractive, balanced and a sleek front 1/3, this guy won’t shy away from making stylish offspring with an extra punch of muscle. Take a look at that pedigree and this big dude becomes the whole package.
Hair for days, and another Dimensional son who will bring performance. Strong topped, smooth shouldered and an early birthdate.

He may have just a small amount of white on his face, but boy does he have a body on him! An extra rib longer, deep bellied and slick in the front, this one’s made right. Catch a glimpse of those WW and YW numbers, he’s going to make some money with those pounds.
