2026 is an exciting time! We are honoured to have Patterson Simmentals join us as guest consignors. The Patterson’s raise some of the very best Simmental cattle around; the kind that’ll make you stop and look twice. Top-tier cattle, and even better people.
The C2 bulls are what you’ve come to expect, predictable and consistent. We never chase extremes. Here at C2 the focus is on structure, fertility, and longevity. If you’ve toured the bull pen with me, you’ve heard me say “You’ll find bigger bulls, that’s just not our deal.“
Whether your program calls for calving in the harsh Canadian winters, or calving on the summer grass, we do it all. We know what it takes and our bulls deliver!
Intensive rotational pasture management has become a passion of mine. Over time, this has drastically enhanced our ranch. Now we are running more cows on less acres and extending our entire grazing season. Terminal cattle that thrive in these conditions are absolute game changers. Ranch raised, yet perform in the feed yard.

TO C2 CHAROLAIS’ 2026 SALE
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 8th Annual C2 Charolais Bull Sale, hosted by Jeff and Jackie Cavers and Family of C2 Charolais.
Each year this program continues to move forward, and this offering is a true reflection of the dedication and discipline behind the C2 prefix. The 2026 sale group is the strongest and most consistent to date. These are the kind of Charolais bulls today’s industry demands — powerful performance, added hair and substance, all without sacrificing calving ease. It’s a combination that commercial cattlemen and Purebred breeders alike can use with confidence, whether they’re building replacement females and bulls or marketing calves in the fall.
Jeff and Jackie have focused on predictable cow families, sound structure, and herd bulls that work in the real world. The result is a uniform set of bulls that are rugged, athletic, and ready to cover cows and add pounds where it counts.
We are also excited to welcome a new guest consignor to this year’s event, Patterson Simmentals. They bring an outstanding pen of Simmental bulls that complement the offering perfectly, along with a special group of open commercial replacement heifers. This addition adds depth and extra opportunity for cattlemen looking to source quality seedstock and females in one stop.

BULL EVALUATIONS...
All bulls will have a current weight, scrotal measurement and semen test available sale day. Decision deferred bulls (DD bulls): These bulls and younger bulls may need a bit more time. It’s to be expected, especially after a cold winter. We guarantee to provide you with a sound breeding bull. Buy with confidence.
VIDEO SALE...
The bulls will be ready for viewing in pens on sale day. We will not be walking the bulls through the sales ring. They will be sold by video presentation in the comfort of a warm sale barn. Jeff, Keegan and the boys from T Bar will be on hand to answer questions and show you around. Take your time, come early and evaluate the bulls in person. Videos are also available on our website C2charolais.com, DLMS.ca and Buyagro.com.
SEMEN...
C2 reserves the right to collect semen on any bull at our expense and the buyers convenience.
After a cold winter, it is important to have your bulls semen tested and evaluated prior to breeding season. It’s an easy way to set your program up for success, and we want nothing more than the very best for our valued customers.

Take any previously purchased C2 bull and get him checked by a licensed veterinarian. Grab a copy of the test. The test must be dated, have completed results, the veterinarian’s signature and bull tattoo. Show us the test on or before March 28, 2024, then give us the invoice! We want to ensure that all your breeding needs are taken care of. Finding you a suitable replacement if needed, when the selection is at its best.

We would like to thank Jeff & Jackie and family for the invitation to join their sale and T Bar C management team for everything they do. We are located south of Boissevain, where we proudly farm the same dirt that Scott’s parents, Gord & Sharon and his Grandparents, Jim & Helen farmed and raised simmental cattle before us.
We are 3rd and 4th generation cattle producers with 200+ red and black simmental cows. We have been steadily growing our herd and breeding up to purebred for the last 10 years and we’re very proud of the bulls and heifers we have on offer this year. We focus on longevity and prioritize temperament, udders & feet. The yearling bulls were weaned Oct 1 with some impressive weights without any creep and have been on a corn based TMR and pail fed oats daily. They are well socialized and easy to work with.
We’d like to say thank you to Cody & Levi for trimming and Laura Horner for the pics and videos and thank you to everyone who has shown interest in our program. Sired by Top Tier, 214M is a 2 year old heifer bull we kept as a backup for our own use last year, but didn’t end up using him, so we decided to include him in the sale. He has a 72 lb birthweight and a 12.2 CE he should easily be able to look after the heifer pen. He has a perfect white blaze that will make him extra popular on sale day!

CONDITIONS TERMSand
TERMS:
The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bigger and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final.
Announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION:
Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.
PEDIGREE ESTIMATES:
Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such.
HEALTH:
All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.
GUARANTEE:
Each animal becomes the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold. All animals in this sale will be sold under the terms and guarantees set forth by the Canadian Charolais Association with regard to health, freedom from defects and from both reproductive and specific genetic unsoundness.
LIABILITIES:
All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller. facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may, in extreme cases, be taken must be between buyer and seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assumes no responsibility of any credit extended by the seller to the buyer. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.
PHONE, MAIL & WIRE BIDS:
Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone, wire or mail their bids and instructions to the sale manager, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale.
INSURANCE:
We strongly recommend that insurance is purchased for full value.
ERRORS:
All announcements at sale time, written or oral, supersede any written material in the catalogue.
