David Bellin (he/him) (u/s: Adam, Larry, James) is a sophomore acting major from Pittsburgh, PA and has most recently appeared in …Humming in the background (small scale) and in the company of the children’s tour My Robot (Children’s Tour), as well as in the ensemble of The Rocky Horror Show with Black Box Players. Lots of love to his family, friends, professors, and Sofia and Bodey his French Bulldog and Tabby Cat.


Jessica Chien (she/her) (Masako, u/s: Sophie) is a sophomore acting major from Taiwan. This is her second production at the Department of Drama. She is thrilled and very grateful to be part of this incredible production.
Nika Jomei Cospolite (Da’Ran) is a sophomore acting major from Miami, FL. Prior credits include: Revolutionary in Marie Antoinnette (small scale). This is his first mainstage production and he is very honored to portray his most authentic work. Nika would like to thank his family for all the love and support they have given him on his journey as an actor. Special shoutout to his younger brother Kingsley who misses class to come support him.

Christian Ellwood (he/him) (Adam) is a junior musical theater major from Princeton Junction, NJ. Prior credits include Sr. Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night (mainstage), Laurie in Little Women (mainstage), and music director to Alice by Heart (Black Box Players). Christian would like to thank his family and friends for supporting his dreams and making the journey so much fun.

Emily Kiyomi Gorin (she/her) (Sophie, u/s: Hiro) is a junior acting major from Los Angeles, California. She was previously seen as Valentine/Ursula in Twelfth Night (mainstage) with the Syracuse University Department of Drama. She is more than grateful to be a part of this incredibly hardworking cast and crew. She would like to thank her Mom for her unconditional support and the rest of her family, friends, and mentors.

Zia Gulson (Bridesmaid) is a sophomore acting major from Kennebunk, Maine. She is so happy to be making her Department of Drama debut. Prior credits include Swing in Marie Antoinette (small scale), Eurydice in Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl, and Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Governor's School for the Arts. Ellis Eunjin Honma (Hiro) is a sophomore acting major from Oahu, HI. She is so honored to be working alongside this incredible company. Prior credits include My Robot (Children’s Tour).
Abigail Hunnewell (she/her) (Sylvie) is a junior acting major from Boston, Massachusetts. Her recent credits include Rosalind in As You Like It (Prague Shakespeare) and Samantha-Maude/Molly-Lulu u/s in In Sisters We Trust (studio project). This is her first mainstage production at the Department of Drama and she is so thrilled and honored to be a part of this incredible company. She is grateful for the support of her peers, friends, and family.

Violet Lanciloti (she/her) (u/s: Amy, Grandma, Sylvie) is a junior acting major from Newton, MA. Previous Department of Drama credits: Irma, u/s Flo, Mrs. Potts in Picnic (mainstage), Kit/Jemma in In Sisters We Trust (studio project) and Bertha in Hedda Gabler (studio project). Violet would like to thank her family and friends for all their love and support, and the whole company for making this show great!

Jordan Massey (Nicole, u/s: Da’Ran, Ernest) is a junior acting major at Syracuse University and is very excited to be a part of this production of Kentucky! Jordan has previously been a part of three other productions in the Department of Drama (In Sisters We Trust, What the Moon Saw, Marie Antoinette) and is preparing for their final year at Syracuse University. Jordan is grateful for the time they’ve had here and the opportunities they’ve been able to experience.

Livia Nieves (she/her) (Bridesmaid) is a sophomore musical theatre major from Rochester, IL. Prior Syracuse University Department of Drama credits include Caterpillar in Alice by Heart (Black Box Players) along with Swing, u/s Poncia, u/s Magdalena in Bernarda Alba (mainstage). Sofía Peralta (Bridesmaid) is a junior acting major from McAllen, TX. Prior credits include: Clytaemnestra, Agemmemnon, Cassandra, Ifigenia Watchman, and Chorus in Agamemnon/Agamenón (International Collaboration SUxCENTRO), Understudy in What the Moon Saw (mainstage), GIRL #1 in MEN>women (Black Box Players), and Hope in Pandora's Suitcase (Children's Tour). Tuleck Porchia (he/him) (Ernest) is a sophomore acting major from Los Angeles, CA. Tuleck’s previous credits include Marie Antionette (Louis), Urinetown (Officer Barrel), and American High’s upcoming Netflix show Minimum Wage (Customer) Tuleck strives to bring a piece of belonging to everything he touches with laughter and love, and he is honored to have worked with this incredible company. Mia Rohan (she/her) (Amy, u/s: Bridesmaids, Nicole, Laura) is a junior acting major from Maryland. Last spring, she appeared in Black Box Players’ production of Assassins and understudied the fall children’s tour Pandora’s Suitcase. Mia is eternally grateful for her family, friends, and the support of the Department of Drama’s faculty, as well as her wonderful peers.
Sam Ryan (she/any) (Grandma) is a sophomore acting major. This is her first production at the Department of Drama, and she is thrilled to make her debut with this amazing company. Thanks to friends, family, and instructors. Enjoy the show!


Sofia Slaman (she/her) (Laura) is a junior acting major from New Jersey. She was previously seen in Pandora’s Suitcase (Syracuse Stage Children’s Tour) as Pandora and What the Moon Saw or “I Only Appear to be Dead” (Department of Drama, mainstage) as Esme. Sofia sincerely thanks the cast, crew, and her family for their continued support and kindness!
Harrison M. Wei (he/him) (Larry, Groomsman, Intimacy Captain) is a junior acting major from Concord Massachusetts and is excited to be in his second mainstage performance and second Intimacy Captain role in Kentucky! Previously in the Department of Drama Harrison was an Understudy and Intimacy Captain for A Walrus in a Body of a Crocodile (mainstage), played Joaquin in In Sisters We Trust (student directed small scale), and played Hal Carter in Picnic (mainstage). Special thanks to Erica Murphy and Michelle Chan for giving me such a wonderful opportunity.

Seth Winnick (James) is a junior acting major from Hershey, PA. This is his third Department of Drama mainstage production after appearing in Twelfth Night and What the Moon Saw last year. Along with Syracuse University, he has received training from Shakespeare’s Globe in London and the Prague Shakespeare Company. He has also performed with the Harrisburg Shakespeare Company, Gamut Theatre, and the Popcorn Hat Players.
Rebecca Karpoff (Music Director) has been featured soprano soloist with the Syracuse and Baltimore Symphony Orchestras, the Rochester Philharmonic, and the Rochester Oratorio Society in works of Szymanowski, Mozart, Handel, Bach, Schubert, Haydn, and Strauss. Operatic roles include the Countess, Fiordiligi, Rosina, Suor Angelica, Dorabella and Zerlina. As recitalist and chamber musician, Karpoff has been heard at the Ravinia, Aspen, and Skaneateles Festivals and Merkin Hall in New York City. A Teaching Professor of Voice in the Drama Department, she has worked on numerous productions as vocal coach, director, or music director.
Lauren Schweers (Choreographer) is a junior musical theater major from Houston, TX.
Izmir Ickbal (Scenic Designer) is an international multi-disciplinary designer who has designed more than 70 productions locally, regionally, and internationally, and has received several accolades. Reyna Sanchez (she/they) (Lighting Designer) is a junior theater design and technology major with a concentration in lighting and costume design. Other Department of Drama credits include costume design for Picnic (Department of Drama, mainstage), assistant costume design for Bernarda Alba (Department of Drama, mainstage), and assistant lighting design for Little Women (Department of Drama, mainstage).
Kevin O’Connor (Sound Designer) is currently in his 17th season working for Syracuse Stage and the Syracuse University Department of Drama. He graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in Music in 2008. Almost all of Kevin’s Design credits have been with the Department of Drama over the past 13 years, and some of his favorite designs have been; Touched (2024), Dance Nation (2023), In Love And Warcraft (2021), The Baltimore Waltz (2018), Laura and the Sea (2016), Measure for Measure (2015), and Stepping Out (2014). Kevin also created the Sound Designs for; My Robot (2025), Pandora’s Suitcase (2024), Red Riding Hood (2023), The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (2022), Danny, King of the Basement (2021), and Miss Electricity (2018) for the Syracuse Stage/Department of Drama Bank of America Children’s Tour. Besides Sound Design, Kevin has also worked as the A1 posi-
tion, controlling the audio console/live mixing, for most of the musicals for both Syracuse Stage and the Department of Drama over the past 16 years. Some of his favorite productions have been; Bernarda Alba, Little Women, Once, Disney ’ s Beauty and The Beast, Elf the Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, Next to Normal, Ring of Fire, Berlin to Broadway, Nine, Avenue Q, Hairspray, Parade and Cabaret. He also feels privileged to have worked as the A1 on the productions of Thoughts of a Colored Man (2019) and How to Dance in Ohio (2022), during their Syracuse Stage runs before they went to Broadway.
Erica Murphy (she/her) (Stage Combat and Intimacy Choreography) is an actor, director, educator, and movement specialist. She has performed in world premieres in Chicago, Paris, N.Y.C., and Canada, and created multiple awardwinning productions through PortFringe. Recent performances include The Play That Goes Wrong (Portland Stage), Death Wings Project (Dramatic Repertory Company and The Theater Project), and Balloonacy (The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine). She studies with Theatrical Intimacy Education, and she has provided movement and intimacy choreography for productions with Syracuse University, Geva Theatre, Redhouse Arts Center, Portland Stage, and others. Murphy is a certified Feldenkrais practitioner, and a graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University and the Jacques Lecoq International School of Theater in Paris. She has previously taught theater at Brandeis University and the University of Southern Maine and is currently an Assistant Professor at Syracuse University.
Fotini Lambridis (she/her) (Stage Manager, Fight Captain) is a junior stage management major from Long Island, N.Y. Other stage management credits in Syracuse include mainstage productions of Antigonick (SM), Head Over Heels (ASM), Pippin (ASM) with the Syracuse University Department of Drama, and Assassins: In Concert (SM) with Black Box Players. Fotini would like to thank the entire SM team for their amazing work and collaboration on this production as well as her instructors, friends, and family for their love and support.

Leah Nanako Winkler is a playwright and screenwriter from Kamakura, Japan and Lexington, Kentucky. Her plays include God Said This, Two Mile Hollow, Kentucky, Hot Asian Doctor Husband, Thirty-Six, The Brightest Thing in the World and You Seem Sad as well as many short plays, all produced offBroadway and regionally. Accolades and fellowships: Yale Drama Series Prize, Mark O’Donnell Prize from The Actors Fund and Playwrights Horizons, Audible’s Emerging Playwrights Fund, Jerome New York Fellow at the Lark, Francesca Primus Prize, a 2020 Steinberg Playwright Award, the 2025 Will Glickman Award and the 2025 Daryl Roth Creative Spirit Award. She is published by American Theatre Magazine, Nanjing University’s Stage and Screen Review, Yale University Press, Backstage, Smith and Krauss, Samuel French and Dramatists Play Service. TV credits include A24’s Ramy, where she along with the other writers won a Peabody Award, Love Life on HBO MAX, Schmigadoon!, The Summer I Turned Pretty and Elsbeth, among others. Upcoming: Memoirs of Amorous Gentleman with original music by Duncan Sheik and Crazy Rich Asians: The Musical.
Michelle Chan (she/her) is a director, theatremaker, and producer from Hong Kong. She is a first-gen Taiwanese-American whose work attempts to redefine the roles fabricating the American culture, usually through intersections of gender, class and/or race. Her directing work has been seen at Ringling Museum/Asolo Rep, WP Theater, Atlantic Stage 2, Connelly Theater, The Flea, Brick Aux, Theatre Row, Keen Company, Horizon Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Hudson Guild, Dixon Place, The Tank, The Maker’s Space, Lime Arts, American Opera Project, as well as universities and fringe festivals across the nation. She is an alum of the Drama League, the newest member of Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective’s Artistic Leadership, and a member of SDC. michchan.com @michellechaann

Julia Zhu (she/her) (Assistant Director) is a freshman musical theater major from Shanghai, China.

Eleanor Holdridge Off-Broadway productions include world premieres of Selma ’65 (LaMaMa), Steve & Idi (Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre), and Cycling Past The Matterhorn (Clurman Theatre). Regional world premieres include Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me A Soprano, David Grimm’s adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac, Lauren Gunderson’s The Revolutionists (Cincinnati Playhouse), NNPN Rolling World Premieres of Lauren Gunderson’s Miss Bennett: Christmas at Pemberley and I and You, Meg Maroshnik’s Fickle: A Fancy French Farce, and Caleen Sinnette Jennings’ Queens Girl in the World (Theatre J). She has directed twenty-four of Shakespeare’s plays, some of them multiple times. Recently she directed Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville at the Alley Theatre in Houston. Upcoming directing projects include a workshop of Ken Ludwig’s Napoleon at Pemberly and The Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder at the Olney Theatre in Summer 2026. She holds an MFA from Yale School of Drama.
Part of the College of Visual and Performing Arts, the Syracuse University Department of Drama offers degree programs in acting, musical theater, theater design and technology, stage management, and theater management utilizing conservatory-style training in a university setting and in collaboration with Syracuse Stage.
