Payment is due before shipment unless credit has been approved. All orders without credit approval require a 50% deposit.

ACCEPTANCE OF ORDER

All orders are subject to acceptance by Gloster Furniture, Inc.

Our acceptance of your order will be made in the form of an order acknowledgement.

All orders must be in writing. Email orders are acceptable. Please review acknowledgements carefully for accuracy. At this time, your order is submitted for credit approval.

CANCELLATION AND ORDER CHANGE

No cancellations, changes, adds or holds will be accepted for an order.

If an order is changed whether frame, colour, order hold, add to, etc., the order will be placed at the end of the priority line.

Any applicable program will start again from the date of change. Any deviation from this policy will be subject to a 25% fee.

Even nature occasionally needs a helping hand to aid endurance. So, from time to time, the checks and splits that are a natural feature of the RAW planks are required to be re-enforced to prevent them extending too far into the wood. Visible cracks on exposed end grain of timber components is normal. The end grain is the part of the timber where the growth rings are exposed. Although we aim to keep the presence of end grain to a minimum to reduce the risk of splits and cracks, it is sometimes inherent in the design of our product. In our Block items, we make a feature of the end grain. As the timber is exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, small cracks will open in the end grain. This will not affect the strength, performance or life expectancy of the product. In fully exposed positions, the cracks will appear quite quickly, and will be deeper. In covered locations, the cracks will be less visible.

PROTECTIVE COVERS

Gloster protective covers are made from Weathermax, a heavy duty 100% solution dyed polyester material. Weathermax is a performance cover material combining UV resistance, water resistance, breathability and durability. The ability of the fabric to breathe is essential in reducing dampness, heat build-up and condensation. This in turn reduces the chances of problems such as mould or mildew becoming present on the furniture underneath.

With Gloster’s typical attention to detail, each cover is tailored to the unique dimensions of our product, ensuring a perfect fit. As well as covers for individual items, we also offer covers for all our stacking chairs, meaning that a single cover can be used for a stack of four chairs. For our modular furniture collections, adjacent covers are designed to zip and Velcro together so the entire set can be covered without the need to separate each item. All covers feature either a strap-and-clip connector or ties to ensure security against wind.

coating on the surface to reduce water absorbency. If the fabric does become wet from prolonged exposure, they will come to no harm, and the fabrics will dry out naturally. Gloster cushions are offered with fabrics that fall into three distinct groups:

OUTDOOR PERFORMANCE

Offered in a wide selection of stylish and sophisticated fabrics with a soft hand, our Outdoor Performance cushions use the softest, most luxurious fillings that give

the feel of the most comfortable indoor furniture. A highly water-resistant barrier beneath the outer fabric cover protects the fillings, keeping drying times to a minimum.

MAXIMUM WATER RESISTANCE MAXIMUM SOFT TOUCH

For maximum water resistance, a selection of Sunbrella® Rain cover fabrics features a water-resistant coating that is applied to the back face, helping prevent water travelling beyond the surface of the fabric. Although not offering quite the same soft hand as our other fabrics, these water-resistant fabrics are very practical and quick drying. The fillings inside the cushion are engineered using open cell materials to allow for maximum air circulation, helping to speed up the drying process even further.

Combining with all the benefits present in Outdoor Performance cushions, Gloster offers this range of exclusive, knitted outdoor fabrics, the first to be produced using 100% solution dyed acrylic yarns. These knitted fabrics offer the ultimate in terms of softness, giving a sumptuous cosy feel, while the inherent stretch allows for the perfect fit to even the most demanding of cushion shapes. The Wave fabrics feature a unique, 3D knitted structure giving levels of texture and softness unparalleled in outdoor fabrics.

TEXTILES SPECIAL FEATURES

WATER RESISTANT TEXTILES

Sunbrella Rain is a water resistant version of the standard Sunbrella upholstery fabrics. Rain fabrics are treated with a weatherproof coating that minimises water absorption and enables the cushion to dry out much faster than standard fabrics. Rain fabrics can be completely moisture-free within minutes after a simple wipe-down. When wet, the fabric threads expand slightly, meaning any water simply beads up on the fabric surface, rather than seeping into the cushion filling and leaving behind residual moisture. Rain fabrics are a little stiffer than the traditional Sunbrella fabrics, but they share the same marketleading performance in terms of durability, fade resistance, and ease of cleaning - making them the ideal choice for all outdoor living and dining spaces.

RECYCLED CONTENT TEXTILES

Sunbrella ® recycled fabrics combine up to 50% post-industrial recycled Sunbrella ® fibre with virgin Sunbrella ® fibre to achieve vintage charm, rich colouration, soft feel and excellent performance. Due to the nature of the recycled content, Sunbrella ® recycled yarns may exhibit random colour specks and shade variation. These slubs can sometimes be a contrasting colour.

The recycled and virgin fibres are blended to help ensure that the product meets stringent Sunbrella ® performance standards. The recycled content is collected from the Sunbrella ® manufacturing facility, where the waste is segmented into colour groups, reduced back to its fibre state and finally mixed with Sunbrella ® virgin fibre before making its way through the manufacturing process. Due to the recycled nature of this fabric, the colour may vary between production batches and large sections of recycled yarns may run sporadically throughout the fabric. The presence of these recycled yarns should not be interpreted as imperfection, but as part of the character of the recycled fabric.

DIRECTIONAL TEXTILES

Fabric will run front to back on the cushion as you see it in the swatch book, fold-out swatch card or website configurator. This standard on some sectional corner or wedge units will cause a directional fabric to be sewn diagonal. Please contact your sales rep or customer service representative if you have any questions.

COM & NSP

COM (Customer’s Own Material) services are offered for cushions priced as Grade B. Gloster Furniture does not warranty COM fabrics. All COM orders must be submitted with completed COM form. Copies of completed COM forms must accompany all fabrics shipped to Gloster.

NSP (Non-Standard Piping) services are offered for cushions priced at a one grade upcharge from the primary fabric grade (ex: Grade A fabric with Grade A piping will be priced at Grade B. NSP services for primary fabric grade D are priced with a 7% upcharge.

DEFINING THE WARRANTY

Gloster proudly provides you, the original retail purchaser or the gift recipient, with the limited warranties on your product. These warranties apply to products purchased from an authorized reseller and apply under normal conditions of use. Our products are not warrantied against normal wear and tear; accidents, abu se, or neglect; or from damage resulting from improper use, care, or storage. Damage resulting from misuse, alteration, negligence, accident or normal wear is not covered by this warranty.

GENERAL WARRANTY COVERAGE

Our products are warrantied to be free from material defects in workmanship, materials, and construction from date of purchase for the number of years noted below when used for normal, residential outdoor use.

2 Years - Structural components, fittings & mechanisms, covering materials and workmanship in normal use, not including superficial or accidental damage, or expected normal wear & tear.

1 Year - Powder coat finish, covering adhesion and environmental resistance, not including superficial or accidental damage, or expected normal wear and tear.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Because many of our products are handcrafted and made with natural materials, variations in size, shape, and color can be expec ted. The natural variations in wood and the hand-finishing techniques used to create many of Gloster’s products, finish colors may vary from piece to piece. Small cracks, which may appear in the end grain of teak when exposed to the elements, and any change of appearance due to weathering are considered entirely natural for teak outdoor furniture. Teak components should be wiped with a soft cloth upon receipt to remove any residual sanding dust. Transfer of oil pigments onto fabrics and patio surfaces is to be expected with newly exposed teak as the surface color washes away. Cushions may retain water in the event of prolonged periods of rain. For complete information regarding use and care, please refer to the Care & Maintenance gui des available at gloster.com.

These warranties do not cover such variations or any differences between floor samples, swatches, or printed illustrations and your item(s). Gloster is also not responsible for color variations in fabric or leather upholstery due to dye lot variations that may occur with nonconcurrent orders. Any product modification by reseller or consumer, or use of non-Gloster parts, voids this warranty.

No warranty claims will be accepted for any products or components that are over 5 years old.

WARRANTY SERVICE

If you have an issue with your Gloster product that you feel is covered by this warranty, contact the Quality Assurance Center where you made your purchase or your nearest authorized Gloster Reseller. You will need your dated sales receipt to initiate your warranty claim; as the warranty period begins at the time of purchase. The sole remedy provided by Gloster under this warranty will be to repair or replace product or any part thereof. Gloster reserves the right to decide the appropriate remedy at its sole discretion. If we decide to replace a product we no longer sell, we will replace it with a comparable product of equal or lesser value which is of like kind and quality. If your product is repaired or replaced, the limited warranty will not be renewed or extended. LIMITATION OF SELLER’S LIABILITY.

(a) In no event shall seller be liable to buyer or any third party for any loss of use, revenue or profit, or for any other con sequential, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages whether arising out of breach of contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, regardless of whether such damages were f oreseeable and whether or not seller has been advised of the possibility of such damages, and notwithstanding the failure of any agreed or other remedy of its essential purpose.

(b) In no event shall seller’s aggregate liability arising out of or related to this agreement, whether arising out of or related to breach of contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, exceed the total of the amounts paid to seller for the goods sold hereunder.
