朱樓綺戶 ——太古堂的 前世今生

這是一棟顏色鮮艷的大廈，靜 靜地坐落在大學校園的一角，毗 鄰美術博物館，距離馬路只隔一 道樓梯，卻毫無車馬喧鬧，反倒 是平日傳來陣陣的人聲隨着學期 完結漸漸遠去。勞碌三十多個寒 暑，在送別又一批的宿生後，太 古樓靜默地繼續她的工作，和熱 火朝天準備迎新活動的堂友們一 起期待新宿生的到來。 自一九八零年起，太古堂作為 校內第一層高層學生宿舍為學生 提供宿位，最初的建築意念已為 集文娛住宿和綜合設備於一身的 多元化活動大樓，分別為綜合樓 部份和宿舍部份。在最初的定位 中， 綜 合 樓（GA-2A） 有 多 樣 功 能，有電視室、紙牌棋劇室等娛 樂設備，音樂室、展覽會場所等 學術設備以及小型市場、咖啡室 等公共設備，更令人意想不到的 是綜合樓最初構思是有多個休息 室，而休息室中更計劃備有床鋪 被褥！假若這些設置現在仍然存 在，相信太古堂將會是最容易“屈 蛇”的舍堂！當然，現在綜合樓 （方樹泉文娛中心）已變為多個 學會的莊房所在地，想住宿的學 生當然需要申請太古堂。

No Milkshake No Life is well-kno wn for its milkshake, so of course, I ordered one milkshake. The “Chocolate Banana Smoothie” is rich and s weet. It is full of fresh banana flesh.

For the “Crazy Cheers Cheese”, you wouldn't expect how rich and cheesy the cheeses were! It filled your tummy, as well as your sight!
The “Banana Chocolate Pancake” is not those ordinary souffle type but typical American style. It is served with fresh banana flesh, caramel and cream. 16
Congteakafe Address: G/F, 4 David Lane, Sai Ying Pun, Western District Recommended dishes: “Egg Benedict� Wanna star t a da y with a fruitful breakfast? Congteakafe is another wise choice for you other than Classified. The main character, egg benedict, is cooked well as the egg yolk flows out onto the muffin when it is being cut. It is served with bacons, mushrooms, beans, sausages and lettuces. With such good taste, the allday breakfast can be regarded as reasonably priced.

Assam Asia Food Express Address: Shop 4A, G/F, Manifold Count, 36-46 Pok Fu Lam Road, Pok Fu Lam Recommended dishes: “Homemade Laksa” For the “Homemade Laksa”, the soup is creamy and textured, while the flavours – not too spicy – are clean and light on the palate. With its coconut milk-based curry soup and several seafood fillings, the laksa is undeniably a perfect lunch during summer. What’s more, it is served with deep fry crab claw which is crispy.

This hidden Japanese restaurant serves both Japanese and Korean food to cater to the needs of a massive number of Korean customers. 19
One of the best dish, “Bibimbap”, is unlike the traditional Korean Bibimbap, there is no Kochujang (Korean chili paste) added in and it is more like Japanese beef rice. Apart from that, it is really cheap and tasty. Moreover, they serve with big portions. There is a special culture in this restaurant. Soft drink is free when you order any food. However, the way to get the drink is unusual. You have to bring a cute doll to the neighboring restaurant (#24 food station) and show them the doll in order to get the drink there. I could feel a warm connection between chefs. 20
“Tteok-bokki” is also very different from the traditional one. This restaurant’s “Tteok-bokki” has various ingredients while the traditional one usually only contains Tteok (rice cake) and fish cake.

Chongqing food is famous for its spiciness with special spices and oil. My favourite dish is “Bamboo Shoots with Spicy Sauce”. At the first glance, it looks very spicy with the red oil, but in fact, it’s not spicy at all. It keeps the special smell and flavour and filtered the spiciness bit by bit. The bamboo shoots mixed so well with the sauce, however, the original flavour of the bamboo shoots remains.

Recommended dishes: “Sizzling Beef” 鐵板嫩牛 “Spicy Fried Chicken Cartilage” 辣子雞軟骨 “Sour Spicy Shredded Potato” 酸辣土豆絲 The spicy dishes in Hunan cuisines is milder than that of Chongqing, but you will definitely crave for it after a bite, especially the “Sizzling Beef ”. Just get yourself a chilly drink with the “Sizzling Beef” and enjoy the recurring spicy taste on your tongue.
In addition, you can enjoy a student discount and have a bowl of rice served with chosen dish at $48 during lunch hours. 22
太古夫人: 大點十口國近日正密密籌備迎新活動，各迎新活動均 有迎新前夕論壇給予所有國民參與。然而只有少量國民出 席，甚至出席的只有前委員及前負責人。加上，當日在場 的委員寥寥可數，令不少國民都紛紛在橙色匿名群組微 言，指責國民應該負上責任參與並給與意見，而不是其後 抱怨不知道迎新活動作出重大改變。更甚的是，國民在群 組裏不斷叱責迎新活動的宣傳遠遠不及去年的，但是亦有 國民力挺迎新活動委員。可是，我卻認為不能怪責任何一 方，只能說眾多國民日理萬機，未能出席及幫助籌備迎新 活動，所以不知這次誰是誰非？ 不知道太古夫人您如何看待這次的事宜？
