Suncoast Wedding & Event Leaders (SWEL) has been increasing networking and educational opportunities for event professionals on the Suncoast of Florida since 2016. These events are designed to help build relationships, develop essential skills for building your business and strengthening the wedding and event community.
SWEL Events happen typically on the second Tuesday or Wednesday of the month. With over 300 members as well as hundreds of non-member attendees, we are the largest wedding vendor group from Sarasota to St. Pete. Our members come from as far south as Naples and up through Tampa and Orlando.
We take pride in creating spectacular events with fantastic themes, where great connections are made and ALL feel welcome.
SWEL hosts 10 signature events annually, categorized into three distinct experiences designed to serve and strengthen every corner of the wedding and event industry.
Each event falls into one of three thoughtfully crafted categories:
Cocktail Parties are immersive and enchantingly themed celebrations featuring extravagant decor and captivating entertainment created to infuse fun into professional connection
Educational Summits feature internationally recognized industry educators and are built to provide actionable insights and expert guidance for business growth.
Functional Events are curated to foster meaningful industry connections and equip you with essential business tools through interactive activities and structured networking.
