Open Enrollment is an opportunity to request that your student attend a school of choice that falls outside of their attendance area. Students who do not live within district boundaries, but want to attend a school in St. Vrain, need to complete the Open Enrollment form.

New Mead PK-8 School

OPENING IN THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR.

The new PK-8 school in Mead represents another significant step forward for our growing community and would not be possible without the community’s ongoing commitment to educational excellence. Through the support of the 2024 Bond, St. Vrain Valley Schools will continue to provide outstanding learning environments where students can thrive.

HIGH-QUALITY LEARNING SPACES

Located on a shared campus with Mead High School, the new PK-8 school was thoughtfully designed to support both elementary and middle school students. Each grade-level wing provides classrooms alongside flexible spaces for group work and specialized learning, including art and STEM. The wings surround a central area with shared spaces, such as the student commons, library, and gymnasiums. The building’s exterior maximizes natural light and panoramic views while prioritizing energy efficiency. The campus layout is carefully planned to ensure safe and efficient interaction between the PK-8 and high school communities, including fields, parking, and traffic flow.

In 2024, the St. Vrain Valley Schools community passed a $739.8 million bond with approximately 74% of the community voting to support continued investment in our schools.

The 2024 bond will ensure the district’s continued commitment to academic excellence, accountability, safety, and providing the education that today’s students will need for tomorrow’s jobs and careers.

Since 2019, St. Vrain student athletes have brought home more than 200 total state titles - both team and individual. With robotics offered at every level, St. Vrain is home to over 260 competitive robotics teams, including the winners of the 2024 VEX Robitics World Championship.
