OPERATING INCOME CONTRIBUTIONS
OPERATING EXPENSE
Established in 2023 by an anonymous donor, Sun Valley Museum of Art’s Arts Education Initiatives Endowment received major gifts in 2024 totaling $500,000, reinforcing our commitment to ensuring that every student in the Wood River Valley has meaningful access to the arts. This permanently restricted endowment supports the Museum’s Learning and Engagement programs. Distributions will be used to create and implement programs that increase access to the arts for K-12 students through arts integration, workshops, character building activities, and teaching artists residencies.
A gift from the Pesky Family Foundation will help support the launch of the Wendy Pesky Educator Summit in 2025. This new initiative honors the late Wendy Pesky’s passionate advocacy for arts education. The Summit, a free two-day program for Blaine County educators, empowers teachers with innovative strategies for integrating the arts into core subjects, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and engagement in the classroom.
