This past summer, students traveled from as far as Connecticut and Texas to study documentary photography with Janette Beckman, a new faculty instructor with Continuing Education. Known for her iconic documentary and portrait photography, she joined CE with a vision for her first course: to guide students in capturing the people and places of New York City, and to showcase their work in a collaborative photo zine.
