Robert Gordon’s Junior School are at Alltnacriche. Pray that pupils will have an excellent school residential. Pray for wellbeing and safety. Twelve staff and volunteers will be trained in first aid tomorrow. Pray they will be better equipped to respond should an incident occur at an SU Scotland event. A Local Ministry Hub training session is being held tonight for hub hosts. Pray it goes well. Pray that Christians will be drawn to consider joining a hub in their area.

The Residentials Board Committee meets tonight. Jo Rose is chairing the meeting for the first time. Pray for helpful discussion and wise decisions.

Caroline Boyers is delivering Bible Alive to Craigbank Primary pupils at Sauchie & Fishcross UF Church
every Wednesday. Pray that the Bible will come alive. Give thanks for the opportunity to lead high school transition sessions for pupils in East Renfrewshire and to hand out It’s Your Move booklets. Pray that pupils will explore these further at home.
THURSDAY 4
Some folks meet online to pray for Independent Schools in the west. The focus rotates between schools and tonight’s focus is on Hamilton College. Join them in praying for this school and its SU Group. Tomorrow is our Golf Day Fundraiser. Give thanks for those who have registered to play. Pray for good weather, an enjoyable time, and that SU Scotland’s vision and the stories shared will inspire support from the guests.
FRIDAY 5
Graham and Marianne McCallum are leading a Motiv8 weekend for young people from Port Glasgow and Cornton, Stirling. Pray for unity and friendship, a peaceful atmosphere, for God’s love to be felt.
SATURDAY 6
A major development project is underway at Lendrick Muir to replace the Glendevon Unit with a modern, purpose-built block, increasing capacity
and providing central dining and kitchen facilities and meeting places. Pray for Paul Bayton and Murray Lawrie as they manage the project and that God will provide for it.
SUNDAY 7
Eilidh Lockhart became our new Glasgow Regional Worker in February, working alongside Craig Morris to grow and develop SU Scotland’s work in the city. Pray for God’s leading. Give thanks for a new Glasgow Local Youth Project to serve schools in the Bridgeton, Dalmarnock and Parkhead area, and pray for the Project Worker we hope is now in post!
MONDAY 8
The first of two Basecamps starts today at Kingscross, led by Jenny Thomson and Alan Scott. Ask God to deepen faith, bring transformation and embolden the young people ahead of serving at SU Scotland events.
TUESDAY 9
Give thanks for Jane Gebbie, who joined the Gowanbank team as Catering Supervisor. Pray she will find joy in her role and add value to the team, blessing staff and guests alike.
WEDNESDAY 10
Circle Scotland is an Edinburgh charity that
supports children practically and emotionally. Circle staff are having a Team Day tomorrow at Lendrick Muir. Pray they will be inspired by what the centre offers and that this will lead to more referrals to SU Holidays.
THURSDAY 11
Give thanks for Junction 12 staff and those who serve on its Board. Pray for wisdom and guidance in their responsibilities as they meet tonight. Pray too that God will continue to resource the trust and transfom the lives of the young people it serves.
FRIDAY 12
Ferrywell are running two overnights at Scoughall for P6–P7s from three schools. Pray for John Gillan and Erin Howieson as they lead, and that the 24 hours the children are with them will be significant in building relationships and introducing them to Jesus.
SATURDAY 13
Pray for the Volunteers Department as they support Team Leaders to fill team needs for Group Leaders, Assistant Cooks and Chief Cooks. Pray that people will explore the ‘Volunteer Needs’ section of our website and be prompted by the Holy Spirit to come forward.

A second week of Basecamp begins at Kingscross, led by Owain Evans and Lesley Crawford. Pray for Mike Glass as he leads the Bible teaching and that the trainees will bond well together, deepen their love for God and encourage one another into leadership.
MONDAY 15
Over 35 SU Missions are planned! Pray for Team Leaders as they make final preparations and for Bruce Lockhart and Alyson Hall as they offer practical support and guidance. Pray that team members will be accredited on time and that many children will join in.
TUESDAY 16
Give thanks for the relaunch of the Clydesdale Connect Group in January and a new Glasgow Connect Group which began in February. Pray that both will continue after the summer and keep on growing.

Give thanks for Jonny Aitken, the Wheel Trust’s new Youth Worker, and pray that he will build strong relationships in Glasgow’s west end. Pray that tomorrow’s AGM will produce thanksgiving to God and that the trust’s vision and strategy for the year ahead will be shared effectively.
THURSDAY 18
Pray for the Holy Spirit to refresh Open Bible staff in Ukraine. The winter was harsh and they have been running weekly clubs. Pray for Grigori Stupak as he directs the team and for God’s blessing upon summer camps.
The SU International Project at SU Holidays and Missions is to raise funds to support floorball ministry in Ecuador. Pray for a generous response from young people and teams.
FRIDAY 19
LeadUP begins at Alltnacriche, led by Alan Scott and Jackie Ringan. Scott Hamilton is the speaker. Pray for God’s presence and empowering as the young leaders build on previous training; for growing confidence in Jesus and his call on their lives.
SATURDAY 20
Give thanks for the powerful way God has been at work at Magnitude Worship Nights,
with young people challenged to a deeper walk with God. Youth leaders will bring young people to Magnitude next month. Pray for the practical organisation of this and that they will come prayerfully expectant that God will be at work.
SUNDAY 21
The Currie and Balerno Hub meets tomorrow. Give thanks for answered prayer and doors reopening for SU Groups. Praise God for similar stories across the country as people pray for schools. Pray that God will call others to register with Pray for Schools Scotland.

The Local Ministries Management Team will review the year and seek God’s leading tomorrow. Pray for vision and discernment for Bruce, Carol, Gordon, Jonathan and Zonya in leading their teams.
TUESDAY 23
‘Who is Jesus?’, our new RME resource for ASN Secondary Schools, was launched in April. It is full of sensory experiences, clear Bible teaching, and provides a resource in an area where little is available. Pray that many teachers will use it.

WEDNESDAY 24
Equip and Spotlight ran from September to May. Give thanks for the deepening friendships and fellowship that resulted among young people from different churches. Pray that God will grant them faith that endures.
THURSDAY 25
Ferrywell are holding three mini camps at Gowanbank for small groups of four or five S1–S3s, allowing young people who can’t access a week-long camp to still have a break. Pray that barriers young people put up will be broken down.
Some young people with additional support needs dread the school holidays and a change to their routine. Pray that some will have courage to book an SU Holiday, and that teams will welcome children with additional needs.
FRIDAY 26
Give thanks for upgrades to the girls’ showers at
Scoughall and the hard work of volunteers at Work Parties. Pray that those attending holidays at this special place in the coming weeks will appreciate the beauty of creation and give God praise!
SATURDAY 27
Four SU Holidays start today. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s empowering for Cara Wightman as she leads at Lendrick Muir; for Julie Moody at Gowanbank; for Libby Lobban and Jo McNeish leading a Motiv8 event at Alltnacriche.
Ross Murray and team are ready to welcome young people to a holiday at Kingscross tomorrow. Pray for ferries to run, for an enthusiastic team and a fun week of friendship and faith.
SUNDAY 28
Gregor McKay of LCYT is leading Larbert Tryst Holiday Club with local volunteers. Pray that the junior leaders will be good role models to younger children and deepen their own faith in Christ.
MONDAY 29
Pray for Gordon Roy and the team leading a ‘Wonderzone’ mission in Bannockburn, blending science and the Bible to explore God’s world. Pray for good team health, and that the children will discover the wonder of who God is.

We are grateful for all those who pray for SU Scotland and serve as Ambassadors in churches. Give thanks for the work of Elizabeth McDowall, Prayer & Church Partnerships Coordinator, who retires today. Pray for her successor, and that God will continue to raise up and resource those who pray for SU Scotland and share what we do with others as SU Ambassadors.
JULY
WEDNESDAY 1
SU Missions are being held in Leith (Edinburgh) and Kilmaurs (Ayrshire), led by Christine Hodge and Mhairi McNaughton. Pray for unity as churches work together to share Jesus and that many children will want to continue to seek God.
Staff wellbeing is important. Pray that annual leave taken this summer will bring refreshment and new energy and strengthen family life.
THURSDAY 2
The Gap Year, led by Esther McLeod and Ewen Cunningham, are flying to Budapest today to support SU Hungary in running
English Language camps. Pray for safety, courage, energy, good health, strong relationships, and that God will be at work in and through them.
FRIDAY 3
Nikolai in Belarus organises ten camps in a row. Give thanks for his commitment and ingenuity in building a pavilion to protect children from the hot sun. Pray for protection, and that many children will meet with Jesus.
Lots of journeys will happen tomorrow as young people travel to and from our centres and sites: pray for safety and for courage for children who may be anxious about being away from home.
SATURDAY 4
Starting today are a Baking Holiday at Lendrick Muir led by Valerie Sim; a Canoe Holiday led by Shula Bayton; a Football Camp at Lendrick Muir led by Alan Myles; a Surfing Holiday at Scoughall led by Brian and Vicky Allen; a Horse Holiday at Gowanbank led by Owain Evans. Pray for young people to have fun, make friends and respond to the significance of Jesus.
John Gillan is beginning a Motiv8 holiday at Alltnacriche. Pray for God’s peaceful presence and wisdom in dealing with challenges.
SUNDAY 5
Holidays are running at Lendrick Muir (led by Jo Rose and Hannah Steeds), at Kingscross (led by Graham and Elaine Tait), and at Gowanbank (led by Owain Evans). Pray that young people enjoy trying new activities and are open to what they hear from the Bible.
The Creative Arts holiday is at Bassenfell. Gordon Roy, Rachel Morrice and Kirsteen McLeod have worked on adapting the venue, programme and communication for the benefit of all the campers and team. Pray that young people will feel they belong.
MONDAY 6
Cammy and Emily Swinton are leading the Seaside Special Mission in Helensburgh, and it is the event’s 50th anniversary! Celebrate God’s goodness and pray for effective sharing of the Good News with children this year.
The Port Ban Mission is its third year. Praise God for the growth of the event and pray that Craig Morris and team will mirror God’s love.
TUESDAY 7
Missions are running in Peterhead (led by Julia Pizzuto-Pomaco and Ruth Mackenzie) and at the Friary, Dundee (led by Susie Ford). Pray for a week of fun and laughter and that the
challenge to follow Jesus will be clearly presented.
Bruce Lockhart and Carol Baird are supporting Wheel Trust staff and volunteers in leading ‘Connect in the City’ in Glasgow’s west end. Give thanks for this opportunity to introduce Jesus to young people alongside fun activities. Pray for its impact.
WEDNESDAY 8
Last year Team Leader Susie Graham held the Dalkeith Mission outside. Pray for practical and spiritual protection as she does so again and that it will be a powerful witness in Dalkeith Country Park, attracting some who might be reluctant to enter a church building. Pray too for settled weather!
THURSDAY 9
Chris Beattie is leading a KART three-night holiday at Lendrick Muir. Pray that children might ask questions about God, particularly those who have enjoyed Walk through the Bible in school.
The Ferguslie Mission team are bringing children to Gowanbank tomorrow. Pray they enjoy time outdoors and are amazed by the activities and Bible stories.
FRIDAY 10
Team Leaders encounter many challenges. Pray for calm and God’s help
in every situation. Pray for wisdom for those manning the Duty Phone, who provide advice 24/7.
Give thanks for volunteers who are giving their time to share Jesus at SU Holidays. Pray for confidence in talking about faith and sharing testimonies over meals and activities as well as during group times.
SATURDAY 11
Colin Carmichael is leading a holiday for P6–S2s and Tim and Catherine Frew a holiday for S1–S6s, both at Lendrick Muir. Pray that young people relate well, relax, and make exciting discoveries from the Bible. Mike Glass is diving into the Old Testament with S1–S6s on their holiday at Kingscross. Pray that the teenagers will deepen their understanding of God’s character and want to entrust their lives to him.
SUNDAY 12
Libby Lobban and Jo McNeish are leading a Motiv8 event at Alltnacriche. Give thanks that the team and young people know one another well. Pray for deepening relationships between the young people and God.
Give thanks for the S2–S6s who have booked to attend the NerdCon Holiday at Gowanbank, led by Cheri Young. Pray for them as they enjoy
board-gaming, LARPing, cosplay and exploring the Bible in a unique way.
MONDAY 13
P5–P7s are trying new activities, enjoying the beach, making new friends at Scoughall. Pray for Russell and Fiona Shields and team as they seek to introduce them to Jesus.
Calum and Sue MacFarlane are holding a Mission in Central Baptist, Edinburgh. Pray that church children will be bold in inviting friends along and that everyone will meet with Jesus.
TUESDAY 14
Three holidays are running simultaneously at Glencoe: Watersports, Red and Blue Mountain Biking. Pray for Karen Campbell as she leads the event, for safety, for a relaxed, family atmosphere, and that the S1–S6s will find answers to their big questions about God.
WEDNESDAY 15
Pray for the Fundraising Team as they seek support from trusts and individuals for the Lendrick Muir Development Project. Pray too that fundraising for the project does not hamper raising funds for other areas of ministry.
THURSDAY 16
It is eight years since Gowanbank opened its doors. Give thanks for the

many children and young people who have been blessed by spending time at the centre. Pray it will continue to be a place where lives are shaped, faith is nurtured, and our living God encountered.
FRIDAY 17
Pray for those making final preparations for Magnitude, which starts tomorrow. Pray for a powerful community where young people can grow in relationship with God and one another and that everyone will encounter the goodness of God, the love of Jesus, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
SATURDAY 18
Some young people choose the ‘Wee Top’ at Magnitude—a smaller tent that offers a quieter, more tactile experience of worship and Bible engagement. Pray for sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s leading and the young people’s needs.
Jonny Gilbert and John Burns are leading an SU Holiday at Magnitude where tents and indoor meals are provided. Pray that those who have come
on their own will make good, lasting friendships.
SUNDAY 19
Craig Morris is leading a holiday at Gowanbank. Pray that the team will point to Jesus and that as they explore God’s word, campers will either grow in faith or come to know Jesus for the first time. Susie Ford is at Scoughall leading the Creative Arts Holiday and S4, a multiactivity holiday. Pray that the P5–S3s will enjoy pursuing their interest in arts and crafts or outdoor activities and have a hunger for the Bible.
MONDAY 20
Pray for energy for Gavin and Joanna Thomson and Bruce Lockhart and team as they begin two weeks of mission at Whiting Bay. Pray that islanders and visitors alike will engage with what’s going on and make life-changing discoveries about Jesus.
The North Berwick Mission is led by Lesli Lawrie and Jodie Boardman. Pray for strength in leading the team, for a good number of children, for fruit that will last.
TUESDAY 21
Young people from eXp, a Christian youth project in Cowal, are at Kingscross. Give thanks for existing friendships and pray that Collin Adams and Jack McGinnigal will see many take steps forward in faith.
WEDNESDAY 22
P5–P7s are enjoying fun and adventure on their holiday at Alltnacriche. Pray for Team Leader Elaine Watt, for safety, growing confidence and deepening trust that what God says in the Bible is true. A three-day COOL Mission begins in Lochcarron, led by Timmy Currie, and in Strathaven, led by Julie Bain. Pray for existing relationships to deepen and new children to come.
Pray that young leaders will know God’s equipping.
THURSDAY 23
Praise God for volunteer Chief Cooks and Assistant Cooks, who do a marvellous job of catering for a wide variety of dietary needs. We couldn’t do without them! Pray they feel appreciated and that they will be good ambassadors, encouraging others to volunteer in this way.

We are thankful for Hilary Phillip’s faithful service editing the @SU magazine for many years. She did an exceptional job of capturing and communicating the stories of SU Scotland to our supporters. Pray for our

P5–S4s are filling Lendrick Muir on their holiday led by Karen Williamson, Kirsty Cumming and Neil Pexton. Pray for a passionate team who will be lots of fun and well equipped to share the Bible.
Give thanks for increased numbers at the Golf Camp, with previous campers rebooking and bringing friends. Pray that Cameron Swinton and team will share the Bible faithfully and model following Jesus well.
SUNDAY 26
Alison Higgins and John Gillan appreciate prayer as they run three Motiv8 holidays for groups of young people from Ferrywell, Edinburgh. Pray for wisdom in timetabling and Bible exploration and that each young person will thrive as they receive support.
Karen Stangoe is leading the Bellshill Mission. Praise God for the group of servanthearted young people on the team. Pray that word of the event will spread and that lives will be changed.
MONDAY 27
Gregor McKay and LCYT volunteers are holding a new mission this week in Carronvale, Larbert, with a sports and gaming emphasis. Pray for good engagement
by young people with no previous connection with churches or LCYT. Pray for wisdom in follow up.
Andrew Stothard and Lyndsey Cole are leading a Gaming Holiday at Alltnacriche for S2–S6s, offering new activities such as flying a drone and making videos for social media. Pray for positive relationships and productive conversations.
TUESDAY 28
Gordon McBirnie leads the Craiglockhart & Colinton Mains Mission and David Mainds the Ormiston & Pencaitland Mission. Give thanks for the witness of these events in two very different communities. Pray for God’s Kingdom to be built!
WEDNESDAY 29
The Easterhouse Mission starts today, led by Julie Brown and Stuart Beggs. Give thanks for the witness of local Christians and pray that children growing up through the event will follow Jesus.
Peter Barrow is a new Team Leader leading the South Glasgow Mission. Pray for God’s strengthening help and many encouragements.
THURSDAY 30
John and Sarah Wadsworth have led a holiday at Scoughall for several years. Give thanks for the blessing of continuity and pray they will have the joy of seeing some respond positively to the significance of Jesus.

The Elie and Earlsferry Festival of Life begins tomorrow. Give thanks for the creativity of Fiona Stewart and team and pray for young people to engage with what is going on.

Andrew Maudsley leads the Sailing Holiday for a small group of S2–S6s. Pray they get on well and make new discoveries around open Bibles. Pray for calm seas and wisdom with regard to weather conditions.
Pray for fun, laughter, and new discoveries about God at the mission at Mure Memorial Church, Glasgow. Bruce Lockhart and daughterin-law Eilidh Lockhart are joint Team Leaders.
MONDAY 3
Julie Bain is leading the Bellsbank Mission in Ayrshire. Bellsbank Primary is a priority school. Pray that the Good News of Jesus will powerfully impact this community.
Susie Ford is leading a mission in Kirriemuir. Pray that children will come from far and wide, including the glens, and feel welcome, safe and loved.
Pray that the Ukrainian holiday at Lendrick Muir strengthens and helps the families who are attending.
TUESDAY 4
Today is SQA results day. Some young people are receiving results while at an event; pray that those facing disappointment will receive good support.
Ruth Aird and Agnes Haggart are using A Tale of Two Kings at the Penicuik Mission. Pray for the Holy Spirit to be at work, revealing Jesus as King of Kings. Kirsteen Marcelin is leading the Kirkliston Mission. As churches work together, pray that God will stir up hearts and transform lives for good and for his glory.
WEDNESDAY 5
The Kirkcaldy Hope Church Mission is led by Lauren Jones. Give thanks for existing connections through KART’s ministry. Pray that each child will engage enthusiastically and enjoy exploring the Bible.
KYTHE are running a Family Week at Kinross Parish Church, with lots of children and young people expected. Pray that the Holy Spirit will open ears and hearts to what they hear of Jesus.
THURSDAY 6
Give thanks for volunteer Travel Leaders and Minibus Drivers, who meet and greet young people and either accompany them on a coach or ferry or drive them to their destination. Pray for smooth logistics, wisdom in dealing with holdups, joy in serving.
FRIDAY 7
Christina Kean is SU Scotland’s first Learning Manager. Her
role is to oversee learning and development, helping staff and volunteers build the skills and knowledge they need for effective ministry. Pray that Christina knows the leading of the Holy Spirit in fulfilling this role.
Pray that God will lead committed people to fill current vacancies.

John Gillan begins a three-day Motiv8 event for Ferrywell young people at Kingscross. Pray that a break away from the pressures of city life will be transformative and that many will seriously consider following Jesus.
Jenny Thomson is leading the final SU Holiday of the summer at Alltnacriche. Give thanks for the team, many of whom return each year. Pray that this loving Christian community will powerfully impact each young person.
SUNDAY 9
Pray for Carol Baird and team as they get ready today for a mission in Largs. Pray for an encouraging response from local children and families and for great conversations about Jesus.
Pray for a successful Eyemouth Mission. Andy and Carrie Haddow have been Team Leaders for many years. Give thanks
for the encouragement of seeing young people grow up through the event, with some coming to faith, being baptised and now serving on the team.
MONDAY 10
Anne Gunn is Associate Worker for the Westside Youth Project in Inverness and is leading the Kinmylies Mission. Pray that it will build on Anne’s work in schools and that many children will want to seek Jesus.
Hilary MacKay is leading the Inverbervie Mission. Pray that children will register from far and wide, and that many will hear of Jesus for the first time!
TUESDAY 11
As the number of young people diagnosed with additional support needs rises, pray that volunteers will take time to participate in the various training opportunities on offer so that leaders at SU Scotland events will better understand what life is like for these young people.
WEDNESDAY 12
Praise God for those who have encountered the living God at an SU Holiday, Mission or Magnitude. Some may have been met with disinterest or even hostility on their return home. Pray that God will strengthen their hearts and that
they will connect with an SU Group, church, or future SU Scotland event.
THURSDAY 13
Pray for churches planning Back to School with God services and that church leaders from across the UK might find the resource online. Pray that this special service at the start of the new school year will strengthen pupils and teachers and encourage ongoing prayer for schools. suscotland.org.uk/bsg

Development has taken place at the Vorzel Campsite in Ukraine, renovating an old building to provide modern, ensuite rooms and meeting spaces. Pray for the outworking of Open Bible’s vision for a ministry to veterans and their families and for financial provision.
SATURDAY 15
Commit the Lendrick Muir Development Project to the Lord and ask for his wisdom. The tender process has begun, with a proposal aiming to be presented to the Board in September. Give thanks for senior pupils who are willing to embark on leading SU Groups in their schools. Pray that God will prompt them to book for training next month and give them courage as they step into this role.
MONDAY 17
A new term of Magnitude Worship Nights is coming soon. Pray for unity among churches, team and attendees, so that worship will be with one heart and one voice. Pray that every young person will encounter God personally, receive healing and restoration where needed, and leave transformed.
TUESDAY 18
Give thanks that LCYT run SU Groups in every school in the Larbert High cluster. Pray for Gregor McKay as he trains and develops new Team Leaders, seeks to hand over some SU Groups and works to expand the ministry.
Pray for those finalising arrangements for Bible Alive with headteachers. Pray for open doors into new schools and that many more children will get to explore the story of the Bible through these lessons.
WEDNESDAY 19
Give thanks for COOL and God-given opportunities to visit schools across Lochalsh and South Skye, especially for Religious Observance
assemblies. Give thanks for involvement by local ministers. Pray for continuing good relationships with headteachers.
THURSDAY 20
Praise God for the good relationships SU Scotland has with schools and for openness by headteachers to allow SU Groups to run. Pray for your own local schools, and if there is currently no SU Group, pray that God will make one possible.
FRIDAY 21
Give thanks for the new Gap Year and Activities Interns who will be commissioned tomorrow at the Big Celebration. Pray that those finishing their year will know God’s leading into their future, and that those beginning will be filled with excitement and courage. Young leaders are gathering at Lendrick Muir for the COmMISSION Review Weekend and Big Celebration. Pray for good reflection on all God has taught them this summer.

The Big Celebration and AGM give an opportunity to thank God for all he has been doing across SU Scotland ministry. Pray for joy, thanksgiving and fresh vision as supporters gather at Lendrick Muir today to celebrate God’s goodness, hear stories and receive updates.

Pray that today’s Contraflow Back to School with God service in Helensburgh will mark a good start to the school year. Pray for Cammy Swinton as he prepares for the Helensburgh, East & West Dunbartonshire Weekend, giving thanks that there is now a need for a separate event for secondary pupils.
MONDAY 24
Pray for pupils who are promoting their SU Groups at high school fayres in East Renfrewshire. Pray for courage as they publicly show their faith and that SU Groups will be included in extracurricular information.
Staff from St Silas Church, Glasgow, are at Gowanbank for a retreat. On Friday, Erskine Church of the Nazarene and Dalkeith Baptist arrive at Lendrick Muir. Pray that time at our centres will draw folks closer to God.
TUESDAY 25
Pray for God’s presence and help at Gap Year training and New Staff Retreat at Lendrick Muir this week. Give thanks that Ferrywell now support two more Edinburgh primary schools: Ferryhill and Granton Primaries, increasing the schools they work with to seven. Pray for John, Erin, Phil, and the pupils they
serve through 1:1 work, groupwork and SU Groups.
WEDNESDAY 26
A teacher in Armadale Academy began an SU Group there last February. Give thanks and pray for Lindsay as the group reforms. Pray that pupils will be brave in coming along and be curious about the Bible. Give thanks for a growing ministry team in the priority community of Merkinch, Inverness. Pray for Bethany Hamilton as she starts a new term as Project Development Worker and that God will open up new ministry opportunities in and out of school.
THURSDAY 27
Give thanks for Susan Muir, who became Borders Regional Worker earlier this year and successfully completed Bible Alive training. Pray for Borders SU Groups to flourish, for a welcome for Bible Alive in schools, for opportunities to share the work of SU Scotland with churches, for an increase in prayer!

Pray for Karen Campbell as she seeks to identify key partners for youth and schools work in Bridgeton and Easterhouse in Glasgow’s east end. Elaine Duncan of the Scottish Bible Society
is speaking at a Training Morning tomorrow at the Mission, Aberdeen, for volunteers interested or involved with SU Groups in the North East and Shetland. Pray for an encouraging time.
SATURDAY 29
A new RME resource for ASN schools, ‘Who is like me in the Old Testament?’, seeks to help young people with additional needs discover people like them in Scripture and realise that God has a plan for their lives too. Pray for wisdom as it is trialled ahead of a planned launch in November.
A new phase of our Source Bible engagement tool was launched at the Big Celebration, with genre specific symbols to help young people engage with Scripture on their own and with friends. Pray that many will use it!

Pray for our Schools Teams at our centres as they gear up for a new season of school residentials. Pray for the two groups of P7 pupils and staff from Bishopmill Primary, Elgin, who will be at Alltnacriche this week.

Give thanks for Christian teachers and secondary school staff in the Highlands who are involved in leading SU Groups in Charleston
Academy, Dingwall Academy, Inverness Royal Academy, Millburn Academy and Portree High. Pray for strength as they serve during busy teaching days.
SEPTEMBER
TUESDAY 1
Ukrainian schools should restart this month. The situation is uncertain, however, with pupils having to stay at home last winter due to no electricity or heating. Pray for wisdom as Open Bible staff plan for weekly clubs and future camps, and that young people will find their identity and security in Christ.
WEDNESDAY 2
Give thanks for the team who lead the SU Group at Fox Covert Primary, Edinburgh. It grew last year from one or two pupils to 15 regulars. Pray for many to return or start coming and for growth in knowledge and love for God.
THURSDAY 3
Mark Arnold, an expert in additional support needs, will deliver training tomorrow to staff at Lendrick Muir and on Saturday to SU Scotland and church volunteers, helping everyone consider how we can be more inclusive in all that we do. Pray that what is learned will be put into practice.
FRIDAY 4
Reach4Reality, a Highland Christian charity working with young people with social interaction difficulties, is holding a family weekend at Alltnacriche. Pray for lasting memories and new friendships.
SATURDAY 5
Pray for attention to detail for Alan Scott as he finishes off the qualification side of the COmMISSION programme, making sure young leaders have gained enough experience to complete their qualification and if not, that other opportunities will arise to allow them to do so.
SUNDAY 6
The Local Ministries team will be at Lendrick Muir tomorrow and Tuesday for staff training. Give thanks for each team member and their gifts. Pray for God’s equipping, deepening fellowship with one other and with the Lord, and that each one will be strengthened for the year’s work ahead.

A planning meeting takes place today for New Staff Retreat in November. Pray for God’s guidance in creating the programme and sensitivity to the needs of new staff.
Give thanks for SU Scotland ministry in Clackmannanshire schools and pray for open hearts among the children. Pray for new opportunities to open up and for new volunteers to accompany this.
THURSDAY 10
A new Chair will be appointed to the SU Scotland Board tonight. Give thanks for Stephen Bell and his service over the past three years. Pray that God will anoint his successor for this important role.

Secondary pupils from schools across Helensburgh, East & West Dunbartonshire will be making their way to Lendrick Muir for a weekend led by Cammy Swinton. Pray for God’s word to be faithfully proclaimed with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction (1 Thessalonians 1:5).

Equip Pupil Leader Training is taking place in New Olympia House today, equipping high school pupils to become confident leaders of SU Groups. Pray for Karen Stangoe and Craig Morris as they lead, and for enthusiastic students!
A new Shine film series focuses on Jesus: Way, Truth, Life. Pray that its launch will attract interest and that it will be well used to provoke discussion among young people.

Pray that those who have joined our Activities Intern Programme and Trainee Instructor Programme
settle well into their centre community, gain valuable experience in working with young people and develop new skills in outdoor instruction.

Pray for CVE Scotland as they welcome teachers to Regional Meet-ups and conduct a survey on how they can better provide support for staff to shine the love of Jesus in schools.

Pray for our Regional Workers and hub hosts as Local Ministry Hubs re-establish across the country, bringing Christians together to pray, connect, and seek God’s direction. Pray for a resulting increase in ministry opportunities among children and young people. Ask God to open new doors for fruitful, sustainable outreach.

Give thanks for the ministry of Junction 12 and their base near Smithycroft Secondary. Pray for the young people
they connect with through drop-ins, groups, 1:1 work and Ignite on Thursday evenings, as well as through weekends and camps.
THURSDAY 17
Give thanks for the continued growth in Motiv8 holidays and weekends for children and young people from priority areas. Pray for Tim Raynes, Jackie Ringan and others as they consider the shape of these in 2027. A Voice Project Weekend is happening at Lendrick Muir, led by Jenny Cheung. Give thanks for the joy of singing and praising; pray that the weekend will lift the young people’s spirits.

Praise God for the way he is helping senior pupils form strong Christian connections at our training events that continue into their everyday lives. The October Go Conference is being advertised. Pray for a full event and the leading of the Spirit for those who will speak and lead.

Pray for preparations for October SU Holidays and that remaining spaces will soon fill. God already knows the children he wants to be there! Pray that he will prepare their hearts.
SUNDAY 20
Pray for unity and wisdom for the Leadership Team (Robin, Jackie, Paul, Mike, Jenny, Zonya) as they deal with a myriad of tasks and responsibilities and line manage other staff. Earlier this year, Mike was off sick. Pray for a full recovery.
MONDAY 21
Pray for the Gap Year to deepen their faith through reading the Bible and sharing it with young people in fun and creative ways. Pray that being part of teams that reflect God’s Kingdom will grow their love for Jesus.
TUESDAY 22
The Missions Task Group will meet with Bruce Lockhart this month to review feedback from missions held in the summer. Pray for encouragement and discernment to see areas for improvement.
An SU Mission will run in Elgin next month, led by Archie McBean and Bruce Lockhart. Pray that the event will build on last year and that God will go ahead of them in every way.
WEDNESDAY 23
The volunteers’ application process for 2026–27 has opened. Give thanks that over 99% of volunteers now apply online. Pray that volunteers will apply soon, as their current accreditation expires at the end of December.
THURSDAY 24
Elaine Tait is leading a mission this weekend in Darnley, Glasgow. Pray for many local children to come and for an enthusiastic time of games, crafts, singing and exploring the Bible.
FRIDAY 25
P5–P7 pupils from the Highlands are at Alltnacriche for a weekend led by Colin Carmichael. Pray that those attending for the first time will have a brilliant experience and want to book another SU Holiday.

Dalmarnock Primary pupils receive weekly support from some of our Glasgow office staff and have an opportunity to attend workshops at Easter and Christmas. Pray for God's light to shine, bringing love, joy and hope.

The majority of young people spend all or most of their time in their bedrooms. Pray for Andrew Stothard as he seeks to
develop new missional opportunities to reach them.
Flourish wellbeing workshops are being run in schools in the west end of Glasgow by Wheel Trust staff and volunteers. Pray for a positive impact on children’s mental health and wellbeing.
MONDAY 28
Mark Bruce of BCYT leads four primary and one secondary SU Group. Pray for volunteers to help Mark with admin and preparation for Christmas assemblies, Christmas Explored and a winter programme.
A new Borders Youth Group started earlier in the year, meeting monthly in Galashiels. Pray that many young people will come from across the Borders.

Pray for the Lendrick Muir Development Project: for good contractors, financial provision, favourable weather, patience for those affected by Glendevon’s closure, including centre staff.
