After 25 years of development and innovation, a lot has changed in the surfboard industry.

Since 2001, NSP has been the original epoxy surfboard brand that pioneered the durable surfboard category along with production innovation, and there is a lot to be proud of globally.

2026 is the year we celebrate our heritage, the things that make NSP unique, and combine them with exciting NEW products and a marketing approach that completes our evolution and capitalises on what NSP stands for. The surfboard range has been split into three segments to better target its customers. Shapers Union has been rebranded with modern graphics and the new HDT construction.

Core features a fresh Elements, EVO-Tech, and CL-17, our new patent pending Wave Pool technology and Protech has been taken to new heights with the introduction of Protech2, PU feel with epoxy performance. Foundation is designed to serve the school and rental market better than ever before. We are stoked to show you what we have in-store for 2026, thanks for working with us.

Created in 2001 NSP was one of the first epoxy surfboard companies and the first to incorporate model specific molded SecureCell EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) blanks into our surf and SUP manufacturing process.

Compared to many custom manufacturers and other factories who cut their EPS from large poorly fused blocks and then CNC cut to shape creating a high amount of waste and pollutants, NSP and Cobra created EPS moulds for each model allowing steam to fully fuse each cell in every blank to eliminate wastage improving quality and reducing environmental impact.

Equally as important, from the surfing perspective this process produces a core which does not allow water to travel through the blank, a common problem with lesser quality foam when damaged. SecureCell EPS foam is in every NSP epoxy surfboard laminated with bio epoxy resins creating boards that outlast our competition.

While epoxy surfboards are a lot more common in 2026 than in 2001, our 25 years of experience means other brands have a lot of catching up to do as our foam and many other production innovations ensure that not all Epoxy’s are created equally.

SHAPERS UNION

The NSP Shapers Union brings together some of the most respected surfboard shapers from around the world to create boards that support every surfer’s journey.

It’s a collaboration focused on blending years of experience and proven design with NSP’s trusted construction technology, offering a range of boards that help surfers progress at every level.

Since its start, the Shapers Union has featured shapers like Carl Schaper from Hawaii, and Tully St. John, Kym Thompson and Marcie O’Neill from Australia. Each one has shaped boards for world champions, and their designs have helped surfers achieve everything from catching their first wave to winning their first contest.

This year, we’re excited to welcome Richie Lovett and his Volume Shapes label to the Union, adding modern performance focused designs that resonate with today’s surfer.

For 2026, we’ve sharpened the focus on each shaper’s unique style, all while making their boards available to surfers worldwide through NSP’s global distribution.

Whether you’re looking for a high performance shortboard, a classic longboard, or a progressive hybrid, each board from the Shapers Union is built with purpose and crafted by one of the best in the business.

The HDT construction by NSP is a marvel of modern technology, utilising an innovative vacuum epoxy lamination process. The HDT layups have moulded foam cores to ensure precision. The result is epoxy outer shell is not only incredibly strong but also remarkably lightweight, ensuring effortless manoeuvrability on the waves.

Our CSE construction for is for the top performers. With UV-stable resins and satin rub finishes, combined with their biaxial glass and fibre reinforced tail patches add both strength and responsiveness with a traditional surfboard feel.

NSP’s Dual Band Carbon Technology ingeniously integrates dual carbon bands into the core of the board, strategically positioned where a traditional surfboard stringer would be. This innovative approach not only allows for a stringer-less blank but also enhances flex, delivering superior drive and responsiveness. CARL SCHAPER - SHAPER

With decades of experience in the shaping bay, Carl Schaper belongs to the higher echelon of shaper royalty on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Knowing a thing or two about high-performance surfing, Carl shapes for some of the very best surfers out there, including a two-time longboard World Champion, pipeline charger and industry legends like Garrett McNamara (Guiness Book of Records for biggest wave ever ridden).

MARCIE O’NEILL - SHAPER

Legendary shaper Marcie O’Neill, teamed up with NSP to bring some new direction to the already popular Longboard Elements, Funboard and Fish shapes.

Marcie grew up surfing in Australia and started designing surfboards at the Aloha Factory in 1989. Coming from a traditional, yet eccentric background, when you look a little closer at the lines and rockers, you will see how our longboard, funboard and fish have evolved in terms of performance and taken on Marcie’s highly regarded style.

Marcie’s Tinder-D8 design is a perfect match! Available in a variety of sizes and three different constructions, Elements and Protech, the Tinder-D8 is an accessible high-performance shortboard that will allow all riders to up their game, in all conditions. This Tinder-D8 won’t let you down.

TULLY ST. JOHN - SHAPER

Tully St. John is the owner/shaper of the legendary Laguna Bay Longboards from Noosa Heads, Australia. Down to earth and heavily involved in the local longboarding subculture, Tully has been shaping since his early days in high school. His shapes are being used by multiple World Champions, right through to everyday surfers, wanting something truly exceptional under their feet.

Tully’s shapes have been honed on the long running walls of Noosa’s Surf Reserve and its many surrounding beach breaks.

Available in CSE and HDT, you can feel the glide and flow in each of Tully’s refined shapes.

KYM THOMPSON - SHAPER

Starting at the young age of 15, Kym Thompson made designing surfboards his life’s work, designing and shaping everything from single-fin boards, right down to all possible multi-fin configurations. Originally, Kym began his career shaping longboards and as the shortboard era took hold, Kym advanced his skills and transitioned his designs to meet the demands of the market.

From the beginning, dating back to 2001, NSP built a strong partnership with Kym being the mastermind behind the popular Heritage Series. His Endless, Hooligan, Dream Rider and Fighting Fish shapes are integrated in the lightweight and sustainable CocoFlax series.

Kym’s last creation, the all-new Atomic Flyer was Kym’s latest addition to the line-up, combining a retro look with performance features designed for intermediate to advanced riders.

RICHIE LOVETT - SURFER / SHAPER / DESIGNER

Richie Lovett is a former pro surfer turned surfboard designer and shaper, combining his decades of experience to create surfboards that perform at every level. After a successful 10 years on the elite World Championship Tour, he developed a deep understanding of how and why surfboards work, refining his knowledge alongside some of the best in the industry.

In 2005, a cancer diagnosis and radical hip surgery forced him to relearn how to surf, giving him a new perspective on board design. This journey pushed him to explore all types of shapes, and core focus on making surfing easier, more fun, and highly satisfying for everyday surfers, which ultimately leading Richie to launch Volume Shapes.

A hidden gem - the high-performance shape anyone in the familly gets to ride.

Carl Schaper is best known for his longboards, but his Butter Knife is second to none, when it comes to his mini-tank designs.

The Butter Knife with its classic outlines, perfect performance longboard rockers and thought-out volumes is a winner across the board. Suitable for all abilities, ride them as single fins in the smaller conditions and let its nose riding capabilities surprise you. SLEEP WALKER

The Sleep Walker Longboard, shaped by Tully St. John is an awesome allround longboard. This shape has been road tested and scrutinized by the world’s best longboarders all the way through to everyday surfers and by those just starting out to create a formula that works for everyone.

The Sleep Walker is set up for traditional log style surfing with a single fin allowing for long hang tens and paddles into waves very easily. In addition, the Sleep Walker delivers allround flow and turn ability.

This is a great addition to anyone’s quiver, it’s a great, easy to surf, allround board.

The Overdrive is the latest addition to the range by Tully St. John of Laguna Bay. A design that has evolved over 25 years to become a staple for the world’s best longboarders. It forms part of a 2 board quiver with the Sleep Walker, where as the Sleep Walker excels in smaller longer walled waves the Overdrive also excels in beach breaks and more powerful conditions.

The extra width in the nose, entry concave spiraling into a V through the diamond tail and performance rocker complimented by low boxy rails creates a board that flows, releases and is easy to turn. The Speed Line is a Tully St. John design, the owner and shaper at legendary Laguna Bay Longboards in Noosa, Australia. Tully’s shapes have been honed on the long running walls of Noosa’s Surf Reserve and its many surrounding beach breaks – the glide and flow of this mid-length design is unmistakable Tully.

The Speed Line is your all-day, everyday funboard with a modern classic design. A wide point forward section, a pulled in tail and soft rails contribute to ease of paddling and effortless trim. It has drive for miles and a loose tail, thanks to a single to double concave. Available in three sizes, there is a classic Noosa Speed Line for everyone.

Designed as a 4+1 (fins not included), the Speed Line accommodates a variety of fin configurations to suit your style. Whether you’re charging hollow reef breaks or flowing through Noosa’s peeling points, this board makes it all feel effortless and within reach.

Laguna Bay Unicorn

UNICORN

VOLUME - HYBRID X

The Hybrid X is the third iteration of the Hybrid series with a focus on better paddle efficiency, start-up speed, and stability up front. With the wide point and thickness pushed forward to maximise foam distribution under the chest and towards the rails, this the best paddler of the Hybrid series.

The design goal with the Hybrid X was to create a board that paddled into waves really easy, then once up and riding, the back half of the board performs like a high performance shortboard. The tail measurement on this model is narrower compared to the Hybrid and Hybrid+, so when your back foot is planted over the fins, it will respond and turn on demand and also hold-in nicely when the waves

The entry rocker has been relaxed to allow for quicker start-up acceleration and speed from the take-off. VOLUME - FISH

The Volume Fish takes the confusion out of choosing just one board for every day use. This is a modern utility fish, meaning it’ll work in a variety of conditions for most surfers.

The foam distribution on this model is generous enough to offer greater buoyancy and paddle power, yet it won’t restrict you from jamming a tight turn when the wave offers up a nice section. It was designed to feel predictable underfoot but still have a responsive feel off the tail when making quick direction changes.

One of the notable features is the flyer positioned just behind the side fins to elevate the board’s performance. This creates a narrower tail providing more control and bite in bigger, steeper waves.

Built in NSP’s CSE construction with a stringered SecureCell foam core, the Volume Fish offers a balanced combination of durability and lively performance, giving you the confidence to ride a wide range of conditions, day in and day out.

VOLUME - MIDLENGTH

The Volume Midlength has nothing to do with middle-age laziness and everything to do with maintaining your wave count and delivering quality water time, you might even surprise yourself and turn into a wave pig.

From ankle high to overhead, this board has been tuned so you can paddle onto waves early, set your line and go. Once up and riding there’s enough performance in this shape to slice a long carve, drive effortlessly through a roundhouse cutback and pivot smoothly off the top.

Featuring classic curves from the 70’s, combined with a contemporary array of concaves on the bottom, that offers a smooth yet highly responsive feel for a board of this length.

NSP's High Definition Technology (HDT) construction redefines the boundaries of the laws of surfboard production. Now, it is possible to have a board that is incredibly tough, light weight and high performance at an affordable price.

Created specifically for our Shapers Union range, HDT pairs high performance design with precision molding technology ensuring accurate reproduction and dynamic flex characteristics. HDT uses a model specific, fully fused and water resistant SecureCell EPS Core, military grade fibreglass and foaming epoxy resin moulded in our high tech vacuum moulds creating 30% less material wastage and environmental impact of a traditional surfboard.

HDT also creates an exceptionally durable shell that offers unmatched strength and lightweight performance with 50% higher breakage strength at lower weights than PU. Implemented at the request of some of the world’s best board builders in the Shapers Union, NSP HDT construction provides consistent performance and durability session after session, elevating the surfing experience with premium materials and innovative technology.

The Volume CSE range is built with NSP’s Custom Surf Epoxy (CSE) lay-up, featuring a CNC-cut 36g EPS core and a 3.6mm wood stringer. Laminated with full Biaxial fibreglass (220g), it incorporates a 4oz deck on the shorter versions and a 6oz deck on all boards above 6'8" and a 4oz fin patch. Finished with a clear UV-stable resin and a satin rub, this construction delivers a durable craft with excellent flex, responsiveness, and a lightweight feel.

• Wide nose creates more volume for added buoyancy providing more stability, faster paddling, and easy entry into the smallest waves with quick acceleration.

• Rocker and rail outline are combined with single to double concave bottom, with V through the tail incorporated into a wide swallow tail.

• The slight hip behind the front fins reduces the area under the back foot creating a pivot point for snappy turns. Boxy and full rails also add to the overall volume and for giving nature of this model.

• The Fish performance delivers traction, down the line speed and maximum drive over the fattest of sections.

NSP’s heavy-duty Tie Down Straps are ideal for securing your surf, foil and SUP boards to the roof of your car. Made with strong, yet soft nylon straps that will easily secure your boards without scratching the board. The heavy-duty cam buckles are encased in a padded EVA to to prevent damage to your board or car.

TRACTION PADS

Made from repurposed EVA. This pad is entirely made from thermoformed EVA off-cuts. As a surfboard manufacturer, we are committed to sustainability and recycling EVA leftovers is our way to minimize the ecological impact of our production processes, thus reducing waste in our landfills. Extremely durable, full of traction, these thermoformed pads will outlast conventional EVA.
