Dec. 13 Debbie Gibson An Evening of Holiday and Hits Audiences will continue to enjoy unwrapping an eclectic mix of holiday favorites the rest of this month at The Parker in the Lillian S. Wells Hall, with classics performed by Debbie Gibson, Arts Ballet Theatre’s enchanting production of “The Nutcracker,” and joyous tunes with electrifying choreography from Broadway performers in Under the Streetlamp: Hip to the Holidays, as well as an exciting lineup that brings the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, laughs from David Sedaris, Brian Regan, Sheng Wang and Lewis Black, a sprinkle of magic from Jen Kramer, and rock music from Alan Parsons, Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band, Zebra and more. Debbie Gibson: Winterlicious - An Evening of Holiday and Hits brings the recording and Broadway star to The Parker on Friday, December 13th at 8:00 p.m. as part of the Baptist Health Red Carpet Series. After bursting onto the music scene at 16 with “Foolish Beat” as the youngest artist in history to write, produce and perform a number one hit, she has gone on to sell more than 16 million albums and starred in 17 musicals, from Broadway’s “Les Misérables” to the West End’s “Grease.” Her single “Girls Night Out” soared to number four on the U.S. Billboard and UK MusicWeek Holiday Classics, Page 8A

Prepare to be impressed as The City of Aventura presents Tango Apasionado on Saturday, January 4 at 8 p.m. and a matinee performance on Sunday, January 5 at 2 p.m. This beautiful marriage of two styles of dance features the only tango and ballet fusion dance company in the world, PointeTango, performing with the superstar tango ensemble Payadora. These two amazing companies come together on this journey through the streets of Buenos Aires bringing drama, intensity and romance. Audiences will be surprised and engaged by Payadora’s varied repertoire and wowed by PointeTango’s artistry and athleticism.

Critically acclaimed and awardwinning PointeTango was created by Prima ballerina Erin Scott Kafadar and the incredible choreographer and director Alex Richardson.
