Wynwood International Food Festival To Transform Wynwood Into A Global Culinary Destination

WIFF Culinary Passport The inaugural Wynwood International Food Festival (WIFF Miami) debuted last week and will run throughout June and July 2026, bringing a first-of-its-kind international culinary passport experience to the heart of Wynwood. Co-produced by Vice City Explorer and Savor Our City, WIFF Miami is part of the “Let’s WYN” campaign in collaboration with the Wynwood Business Improvement District and the Wynwood Chamber of Commerce. On Thursday, June 4th, 2026 Wynwood Walls will host the official Let’s Wyn Campaign Launch Event where partners, Wynwood chamber members, participating restaurants, key organizations in Miami and binational chambers of commerce will gather. Bank of America, the official bank of FIFA World Cup 2026™, Vet Tix and FIFA today announced a partnership to provide $2.25 Million in free World Cup 2026 tickets to military veterans, current military and first responders, and their families, who live in or near FIFA World Cup host cities. The tickets will be available through Vet Tix starting with the second match played in the U.S. and will include all stages of the tournament. The effort is just one way the bank is honoring America’s 250th birthday celebration and those who serve. “We are deeply grateful to partner with Bank of America and FIFA to help make 4,547 FIFA World Cup tickets available to the veteran, military and first responder communities we proudly serve,” said Vet Tix Founder, CEO, and U.S. Navy

The Biggest Sporting Event In The World Gulfstream Park’s Carousel Club To Host Official FIFA World Club 2026 Watch Parties Carousel Club, now operated exclusively by Gulfstream Park, will be hosting official FIFA World Cup 2026 watch parties from Thursday, June 11th, 2026 through Sunday, July 19th, 2026 in partnership with Michelob ULTRA, Stella Artois, and NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer. Fans can catch the excitement of every match in a lively outdoor setting while enjoying food and beverage offerings, entertainment, and the electric atmosphere of the world’s biggest soccer tournament, with a large LED screen showing the matches in addition to TVs throughout the venue. Guests can also enjoy the thrill of live horse racing throughout the day,
making Gulfstream Park a one of a kind destination for sports and entertainment. Miami’s beloved eateries Pubbelly Sushi and Sergio’s will be on hand for select matches, offering their signature dishes. A Path To Prosperity $414,000 In Scholarships Awarded To More Than 60 Local High School Students Ana G. Méndez University Representatives Academic Director Kerelyne Escobar Perez; Director of Admissions Kalinka Sotolongo; and Director of Student Affairs Vidal Lopez with AGMU Presidential Scholarship recipients Cesar Guifarro and Jerrine Benitez More than 60 high school students were presented with $414,000 in college scholarships during Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County’s (BBBSBC) BIG Futures Scholar Celebration, presented by Ana G. Mendez University. The seniors who completed BBBSBC’s mentoring programs also received the BBBS honor cord as a symbol of their dedication and milestone they can proudly wear at graduation.
“From the day each of these remarkable students were matched with their Bigs to now, I have witnessed so much growth and maturity in them personally and academically,” said Malena Mendez, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County. “Their accomplishments are a testament to the power of mentorship.
