Get ready to weep!
Throats will burn, eyes will weep, stomachs will cramp, and eyebrows will drip sweat! Yes Tauranga, our ‘heat’ of 2025’s NZ Chilli Eating Champs is coming to town this weekend – and this year is bringing the city’s first ever Hot Sauce Festival!
Things fire up at 12 noon this Saturday, as the festival gets underway along Wharf St with restaurants offering ‘spiced up’ plates on their menus and hot sauce vendors commanding the foodie thoroughfare with stalls selling their wares. The NZ Chilli Eating Champs is open to all –
