Record breaker Tauranga swimmer Thomas Magill has one main opponent when it comes to achieving New Zealand swimming records, himself. The 15-year-old was the holder of some of the top New
Zealand swimming records in 2023 before beating them again this year. Magill has been swimming since he was five and started competitive swimming when he was 11.
He is showing strong potential for a future professional swimming career. After watching the 2024 Paris Olympics, Magill was inspired and dreams of representing New Zealand on the global
