Green fingers Most parents can relate to the struggle of getting their youngsters to try healthy new foods. At Oropi School, though, kids are enjoying less common vegetables like
artichokes and red cabbage in the meals they create as part of the Garden to Table programme. But it’s not just growing and eating food - co-ordinator Andrea Habacht is also trying to instil good manners.
“Things like coming together to share a meal, chatting politely and waiting your turn. Just those simple life skills,” she says. Some recent funding means she’s been able to add arches that help organise the
