Creeking awesome! Tauranga’s Royce Morgan has thoroughly enjoyed the wet and wild weather that’s been battering Aotearoa in recent months – in a very extreme way! Royce is part of a community of forecast-checking adrenaline junkies, who chase rising streams to kayak
rivers and streams across New Zealand under extreme conditions. The sport – a sub-category of whitewater kayaking – is called ‘creeking’. “We go to small rivers or streams that don’t typically have much flow, and after a lot of rain or snow melt, it
