Speed goals Te Puke para-athlete Jaxon Woolley is gearing up for a big summer on the track as he chases a spot at next year’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The 19-year-old sprinter, who competes in the
T38 classification for athletes with cerebral palsy, holds New Zealand records in the 100m and 200m. His 100m personal best of 11.91 seconds ranks him fifth among Commonwealth T38 athletes, putting him
in strong contention for selection. Born with polymicrogyria and living with multiple conditions including ADHD, autism and epilepsy, Woolley’s determination and speed have made him one to watch. With
