Pink fundraiser While the final figure for a Pink Ribbon fundraiser in Te Puke was still being tallied when Te Puke News went to print, organisers say the third event of its kind attracted more then

70 people all dressed in pink, to raise money for the Pink Ribbon Foundation and help fund breast cancer research. Organiser Jenny Wotten said the club held similar events in 2021 and 2022.

Each time there has been around 70 people attend, a comfortable number for the squash club, with around 20 volunteers helping to make the day a success.
