Kiwifruit heritage
Kiwifruit is big part of the Bay of Plenty, especially Te Puke, and the establishment of the Te Puke Kiwifruit Capital of the World
Heritage hub showcases the importance of the furry fruit in the region. The focus of the Heritage Hub will be to concentrate on celebrating
the kiwifruit story and this would become a permanent feature. There will be free admission to enable everyone to enjoy Te Puke’s heritage
while a donation box will provide for those who want to contribute to further development of the facility. Read more on page 3.
