Go yellow! Katikati’s Cancer Society fundraisers Glennis Sims and Monique Amor (pictured) are about to hang up their gardening gloves, notepads and volunteering nous. But not before one last call to the

Katikati community to give generously this Daffodil Day. On today, Daffodil Day is the Cancer Society of New Zealand’s biggest annual fundraiser. Katikati will have Daffodil Day stations

outside the local Woolworths, ANZ bank, The Busy Baker, Subway and Family Mart on Main St from 8am-2pm today, August 28. Tomorrow, August 29, two stations will be open from 9am-3pm outside Katikati

Woolworths and The Busy Baker on State Highway 2. “All funds raised go towards cancer research,” Sims said. “It is such a worthwhile cause to get behind.” Read more on page 4. Photo / Merle Cave
