Wheel festive fun! Local resident Alan Taylor will be taking slightly different trip on his mobility scooter tomorrow, December 6, as he joins the Katikati Lions’ Santa Parade. The parade begins 3pm at Katikati College on Beach Rd, and heads from
the college’s front field onto Carisbrooke St and flows down to Moore Park, where Katch Katikati is hosting Christmas in the Park from 3.30pm-5pm. Taylor has his grand-daughter visiting to dress up his mobility scooter ahead
of the day – as he’s planning to enter it into the Lions’ first decorated mobility and electric scooter competition. Judging for this competition – along with the Katikati Leos’ annual Decorated Wheels Competition for youngsters – will take
