Gift drive for kids Katikati woman Sjaan Rounds, pictured, is part of a group of people behind the annual Christmas Gift Drive, which asks the community to get into the spirit of giving this month. Katikati Community Centre invites
people to donate new, unwrapped and unopened gifts suitable for those aged zero-18 to provide a little magic to some Katikati children this festive season. The gifts will be distributed next month. “This is the fifth year we’ve run
the Christmas Gift Drive and we always run short on gifts and have to top them up out of our own budget,” said Katikati Community Centre staff member Sonya Mischewski. “So the more gifts we receive, the better.”
