Let the dogs play
Katikati resident Phil Christophersen and his heading dog ‘Emma’ have been visiting their town’s dog park regularly since it was fenced last year. Since March they’ve been on a quest trying to fundraise for and organise the creation and installation of dog agility
equipment at the Katikati Dog Park in Donegal Reserve. Katch Katikati has helped them fundraise the money to buy the timber, while Katikati Menz Shed volunteers had got stuck in and built the equipment. Now all that’s needed is a bit more
funding to get the equipment installed, and council approval on where to place it. “It would be really good to see the equipment placed down here soon,” said Christophersen. “Emma would enjoy the dog agility
