G ll guardians Gully di It’s a simple box, yet it will be much more meaningful and impactful than most would think. More than 40 Katikati Primary School students watched on as this ruru nesting box was installed in their school’s Te Awaawa gully on Tuesday morning. Nine nesting

boxes have been built and four donated by a Katikati man to Renaturing Katikati to install at locations around the township, to support their volunteer-driven regeneration work of bird and plant life in the township. Renaturing Katikati also works with the Treasuring Our Place / Taonga o te Taiao
