Game On for youth A new Katikati Youth Darts Club is off the ground – to give college-aged kids an affordable, accessible and fun way to get involved in a sport that’s growing
in popularity with youngsters worldwide. Club founder Natalie Dercksen, who works at Shot Darts in Katikati, said with the town having no darts club,
she thought it would be best to start with setting up an avenue for local kids to enjoy the sport. Dercksen said many youngsters – including her 12-year-old son
Tyron Dercksen, pictured – are now keen to play darts due to the global ‘Luke Littler effect’. “He’s a young guy from the UK who joined the Professional
