Cultural celebration A parade of flags of nationalities will be making its way through Katikati on Saturday as part of the Katikati Festival of Cultures. The festival, now in its fourth year, has
introduced several changes to cater for the event’s growing popularity. Along with the flag parade, the festival will also feature cultural performances, interactive workshops,
arts and crafts stalls and international food. There’s also the Holi-inspired “powder throw” where brightly coloured powder will be thrown which symbolises unity, joy and new
