Individual Work_2019
Design process started creating three design units. The important part of the design is achieving a level of complexity and having full control on it. To achieve these aims, the three units and their variations rotated, intersected, scaled. Volumetric relations and their realtionship also considered deeply. Overall design was c o m p l e t e d .

Individual Work_2019 volumetric relations
For this design, properties were creating volumes and providing interralitons between them. Rules were using once piece cardboard and cutting-out was not allowed. In addition to this, we used a linear element which has to be continous and two meter long.

I create a template for one piece cardboard and cut some parts of it. After that fold operation applied to gain necessary volumetric relations. After gaining volumetric relations with cardboard, line element was introduced to support some of this relaions and also tried to create new volumes on their own (diagram, black areas). fold

Being controlled is an unchangable aim and I tired to control allover the operations and relations in design process. Model completed.

Individual Work_2019
Then we dreamt about what can be exist in this focused part. For this design, planar and linear elements are used to create and variate volumetric relations.
This project was a discovery of volumetric relations and trying to control applied operations. Design process started focusing a part of previous design (Cut&Fold).

The concern of the conceptual model is expressing light conditions, enclosure levels and formal qualities such as linearity and branching of the b u i l d i n g .

W o r k i n g O n Individual Work_2019 For the poster design, it is used the photograph I shoot for shade & shadow theme. The poster was designed for �Liquid� title. So, there, it was used a blured frame to put forward g i v e n information rather than background. Black and red harmony used due to make the design more r e m a r k a b l e . Additionally; title, place, date and time information was expressed using red. This is because these are generally first w o n d e r e d information when human sees a poster. First version of the poster was designed with these graphic concerns.

n P o s t e r i z e Second version of the usage of this background was for “Shadow” title. Due to having big amount of black on background, I chose black & yellow contrast. Information which comes first expressed with yellow like title, time and place of the event. For the text, white is used but there was a high contrast problem of background. Background is able to make the text unlegible with any color. For this reason, it is used light effect to provide legibility, also to get another contrast with ‘shadow’ theme. There are two layers of the design. First one consists background and title (which takes the references from existing objects on background), second one creates its own references with yellow lines and consists text, place and time information.

This 3D Design is a concequence of 2D juxtaposed maps which were drawn at Eskisehir/Yazılıkaya situ trip. For The Field design process, studio was divided four different groups and I was in ‘mesh’ group. So, I produced the mesh which has being structural and leading missions over the design. Then other two mesh layers were formed. The next step of the Field Design was turning into spaces (next page).

Logo was thought to use a communication tool for cultural and traditional entertainments of ‘Kastamonu’. So, the competition was expected from designers to represent ‘Kastamonu’ with its all these values. For the design, I have choosen the most attractive and known features of Kastamonu. While design itself represents unnatural qualities of Kastamonu in general; colours represented the connection between ‘green’ nature, ‘blue’ sea and ‘white’ pureness. .
