AGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA)--In line with its mandate and commitment towards its farmer clientele, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA)-10 successfully conducted its three-day Regional Irrigators Association (IA) Congress from March 27 to 29. Attended by various federations of the farmer irrigator associations, the event serves as an avenue for the agency to give updates on the status of the ongoing projects and its proposed programs and projects. The agency talked about its budget and how the funds for CY 2023 aren’t enough to help all of the Irrigators Association with their needs. However, NIA-10 said that it has worked with other government agencies to make sure that its farmer clients can still get help and take part in projects. “Sa ngayon, 2023, ang budget natin ay limitado, kaya ang gagawin natin is still convergence.
